Do think aTm will beat LSU this year?

I do. John Chavis is 129-4 when the his team scores 30+. I don't think Kevin Steele holds the Aggie offense to less than 30.

Because "weird things happen" isn't a relevant argument when assessing a matchup where one team is clearly superior, as ASU is to Syracuse. Yes Syracuse COULD beat ASU but we have no reason to believe they would.

I don't think they're clearly superior. Syracuse still has a top 20 defense, which I think could disrupt ASU's offense. Now scoring might be an issue, but on a neutral field, I don't think it's the blow out you're acting like it is. Syracuse is ranked higher in scoring offense and yards per play over ASU.

Compare 2014 to 2015. LSU is about the same, A&M is way improved. It's really that simple.

LSU had 10 ints in 13 games last year. LSU has 5 ints in 4 games this year.

LSU had 19 sacks in 13 games last year. LSU has 11 sacks in 4 games this year.

Redzone defense is the only problem I have with this defense right now.

Trends are valuable tools in predictions. Kevin Steele gave up 70 points with a month to prepare to a Big East team.

P.S. Why do you like a basketball team in North Carolina?

So, A&M allowing fewer points per games against better competition when their defense was a pile of shite last year means that Steele is doing better job whole coaching against cupcakes than Chavis is against real competition? You're a genius.

I just saw the title of this thread. I'm sure this is a light hearted and pleasant discussion. No way I read this. Nice troll.

aTm has yet to beat LSU since joining the conference. What trend would you base your prediction on if you were a betting man? You ignore the fact that LSU has owned aTm since joining the conference, but instead base your prediction on a stat that has very little data gather from your team??? You better stay away from vegas.

A bunch of teams with no defense and an SEC team that they lost to. UCLA seems overrated, USC hasn't been a world beater, not even going to mention Cal Poly and New Mexico.

Quick, post Syracuses' schedule and tell us how all their opponents are amazing and underrated.

Why are you so mad that there is nothing to say Syracuse would clearly get blown out on a neutral field?
