Literally nobody said our defense would be ranked higher than LSU's this year.

No one at A&M expected our defense to be better than LSU THIS YEAR. We shall see over the next 3-4 years who was right and who was wrong. Early returns are good for both though.

Compare 2014 to 2015. LSU is about the same, A&M is way improved. It's really that simple.

So LSU's defense is on par with last year's unit, with paying the Steele 300K less than what we were paying Chavis at the time? Well this turned out for the better; sustain the defense while lowering coaching expenses. I'll take it!

You can't even measure the changes... We rotated in 4th string on half the teams we've played.

I love how Aggy is always so loud and confident after the first month. Let's see where yall finish.

A&M has played much better teams

A&Ms defense is on the field more due to offense

Again... LSU offered Chavis 1.8 to stay. Sorry he didn't want you.

Our pass defense numbers between the two teams are extremely comparable so far this year. And I beg to differ that none of our current DBs are decent

I watched the Arkansas game and I did think your DBs looked pretty good. LSUs are better though and it should show when we've both played Bama and OM. Not to mention Mills hasn't played yet, and he's a no brainer starter and will be playing on Sundays.

Grier looks good too actually.

Based on what?

Us holding yall to less yards?

Us holding you to less yards per pass and less yards per rush?

What exactly was better?

You might find out if that is true once Steele loses all of the players coached up by Chavis. Or if LSU faces a decent offense this year.

Moo Sate is more than decent on offense. LSU went in there for their home opener and shut them out in first half. Your argument is invalid.
