Yeah, that does suck. What are the rules regarding carrying beers/alcohol while tailgating on campus?

thats part of my point. He never had the poise needed for his first start to be in that kind of environment in a big game. Most guys have a year or two under there belt before they start a game let alone an sec away game. But apparently he's done a lot of growing up mentaly over the offseason.

Pretty much dont be stupid about it. Have your beers in a cup, or in a huggie if you wanna be brave. Since I went to MSU as a student, 2004 and then on, I have never seen anyone have to pour out a beer during a game. Rule of thumb is be nice and everything will be fine. If you try and start fights and etc, well that will be on you.

I will be tailgating somewhere.

Yeah, ok, my only experience with MS games has been in Oxford...and those cops/security guards were real assholes, to pretty much everyone including Ole Miss fans. Was just weird when you are used to tailgating at LSU. Like you know everyone has alcohol in those cups, you just don't like seeing the label, weird...

Regardless, looking forward to it, it will be most our first times there. We all graduated in 2008, so I guess we're around the same age.

Where should we tailgate? Is it a reserved and taped off area like OM? (another sort of lame thing in my opinion)

This may be my most anticipated game of the year.

First two weeksends in September are going to be fun. First a home/away game for me against USM since I live in Hattiesburg and then LSU in Starkville the next week. Can't wait!

The "Main" college tailgate area is up for grabs. Pretty much a Land grab, at 5pm on Friday. Not sure on the exact time anymore. My in-laws live in Starkville so we dont have to worry about getting a tailgate spot ASAP. There are numerous areas around the place now. Getting a parking spot might be an issue, we used to walk from my in-laws house. Less then a mile to the stadium, it was great and they just moved so that kills it. But off topic, I would park where you can and tailgate where you want. I have seen most fans nice and non hostile to opposing fans. When the buses pull up though it goes cowbell crazy.

I must say the most friendly fans I have ever met were at KY. Very nice and respectable.

One thing I can tell you we will have a pretty good idea early out the gate what both teams are made of. Can't wait until football season

It only sounds familiar because it's the first time you beat us since the 90's.
State fans are starting to sound like their big bro with Bama...

Should be a close game, although I expect some flawed play from MSU's defense and our offense.

I think it's viewed as a must-not-lose rather than a must-win.

2015 in the West is wide open. Almost nothing would suprise me in the standings but this is definitely a huge game for LSU and Miles. I am optimistic LSU can make a run this year but they need to start clean out of the gates.
