Nobody cares about all that shite- all people remember is us pulling our starters in Tiger Stadium with a quarter left because Mullen felt sorry for Miles. And I hope Mullen learned his damn lesson. This year? Sweep the leg
You mean stamp the stomach? Pretty sure we scored on your starting dB's, actually I know we did. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

I refuse to engage in debate with a Mississippi state fan
Sorry

Best State team in history beats one of the worst LSU teams in 15 years by 5 points and its automatic that State wins next year? I'll bet whatever you want on this game, LSU wins by 10+ easily, yes I said Easily. Please bookmark this

8 pages and I've seen this post 100 times. Do you idiots feel like it will come true if you continue to say it, or do you just enjoy wasting time?

State will score a lot of points, but the defense will have to play extremely well to win the game. 4 quarters lights out. But Dak and company will score Td's, too many weapons not to.

Bookmarked. Because I have to be honest- I'll be surprised if you stay within 10 points.
That finish last year with a beatdown from UPig, slipping by a down A&M, and losing to an average at best Notre Dame team really shouldnt give anybody hope- especially when your DC leaves because he sees the writing on the wall with Miles

No way. This one is down to the wire. Either team could win
Posted on 4/21/15 at 8:48 pm to CoonassBulldog
We could lose this one, but I'm more confident in us winning here than any other game in the West save maybe Arkansas.

It really is kind of amazing
The one thing that made LSU consistently tick was Chavis' defense and they replaced him with Clemson's failed DC.

LSU fans havent figured out yet that Chavis left because he saw the ship sinking
Posted on 4/21/15 at 9:09 pm to CoonassBulldog
They know. Chavis got tired of planning a defense around a QB that threw like he had a backwards elbow.

quote:Yeah, and they think there will be no drop-off after adding Kevin Steele to run the defense because of a defensive line coach coming in (Ed Orgeron). LSU fans used to slobber all over John Chavis' cock before there was a hint at him leaving. And after he did leave, "oh we were tired of 4th and Chavis, and his defenses choking..."

We were all tired of 3rd and chavis/4th quarter chokes. Our offense was built to win the 4th quarter.. and it really sucks when your defense sucks it up.. largely due to scheme. But give the man an elite DL + secondary and you have years like 2011...
2008: 325.5 ypg (Pre-Chavis and a terrible D)
2009: 327.6
2010: 307.2
2011: 261.5
2012: 307.6
2013: 340.7
2014: 316.8

"Win the big game" said no one ever about a game that involved Mississippi state.

The thing is- offensive numbers around the league have been climbing the last 5-6 years very steadily- yet Chavis' D's are staying constant. You are going to miss that.

MSST dominated the game, if not for 2 last minute TD's when the game was over (plus a fumble recovery for a TD to start the 2nd half) the games score would've reflected the actual beat down by State. They rushed for 300 yards!
This game sets up nice for MSST, 2nd game of the season, they've got a senior qb, home game and Will be fired up. While LSU qb situation is pretty pathetic.

y'all won last year because you had the most experienced team int eh SEC.
This year you only returned 7 starters.
Y'all fricked.

The majority of LSU fans here have to be the worst collective of any one fan base.
***Notice I said majority and not all. They have a few good ones, but their bad easily outnumbers any other fanbase represented here.
