I usually figure an hour and a half per pound. That's cooking at 225-250 on the egg. Bumping the temp to 300 will make sure it's done earlier. i cooked two 12 pounders one time and it took around 18 hours at 275-300.

oh yeahhh, me too.

Most of the pulled pork is going to the fella that post above you but I should have enough to feed who's hungry. I'm doing two loins, I'm sure I'll end up bringing some chicken breast or wings to do after the loins are done as well. If someone leaves hungry it's their own fault.

Wasn't planning on doing one this big, was going to do a 10lber for gtown and call it a day. Then when I saw this big bitch looking at me I couldn't resist. I figured I'd take some for my spot as well. I'm in no rush though, not like I'll be able to sleep Friday night

Doing tri tip again tonight. Not as thick and doesn't have as good of a fat cap this time, but I'm sure it'll turn out edible.
