If this continues and we end up winning the tourney, would that justify an outside shot at hosting a Regional? Crazier has happened. That would require us beating LSU at least once, most likely twice, and another win over either MSU or SCar. Would stringing wins against those opponents be enough to put us as the 15th or 16th host?

Colin Poché will get the start Thursday vs. #8 LSU. He is 3-0 with a 2.55 ERA in 7 starts and 16 appearances. #WPS

RPI now at 33
So basically top 5 if you took away either Grambling or MSVS series.

SOS would be top 5 without the SWAC teams.

Good little run in the tourney. Almost wish we had just gone 2-2 and headed home.
RPI up to 29 now.
Gets some rest and get ready for regionals

Overall, a surprising season IMO.
Ended badly, but being paired with Virginia wasn't exactly a dream regional. Arkansas would have benefited from getting placed in Stillwater or Fort Worth. The committee did Arkansas no favor sending the Hogs to Charlottesville, VA but sent aTm to Rice, although the Aggies finished behind Arkansas in league play and RPI. I would have taken a 4 seed in that region.

Solid season for a rebuilding year. We have a good young core going forward.

I could see it going down this way
Sign: anderson, fisher, oliver, gunn
come back: spoon, serrano, beeks, stone
asked to leave: wernes, bernal
No idea about mcafee. But i would be pretty pleased if all of those came back, apparently serrano isn't hurting for money

There's a slight chance we may be getting a transfer from an ACC school. His Dad was a local and they've moved back if he can get a tuition waiver he could be a walk on candidate as he's buried at he school he's currently attending. I'm not sure that he'd compete for much time here either. I think our roster is even more competitive.
