That isn't all of our draft picks FYI.
ETA:
Actually it might be. I was thinking about Mettenberger but he wasn't with us. Then it reminded me of our QB play that year and I spiraled into depression all over again.

it also doesn't include guys that made teams as UDFA. The number is still astounding regardless

That's insane. Can't click link, does it say if all those people played? Being that they are including the 2014 draft and the game was 2011, I would iamgine that not all of those guys even saw the field.

Unless you know or appreciate anything about the game of football.
What you witnessed was quite possibly the two best overall defenses to ever be assembled on a college football team - on the field during the same game.
Think about that for a second.

That was the most intense game I ever attended.

Did I count 14 first rounders that played in that game?

I can't imagine I will ever see a better LSU defense/special teams combo.
Probably will only see a few as good/better in college football.

yep
Best defensive game I've ever seen. Fans of other teams will just never get it. So intense I know I sprouted a few gray hairs.
Damn shame we didn't show up on 1/9. We did the whole country a disservice that day. Could've been another epic game.

If Ryan Perriloux wasn't a dumbass that LSU team is one the best of all time

I think I had a cigarette in my mouth for about 4 hours straight.

He would have gone pro a year early and then become a bust

Great game. Sucked at the time to lose it, but since we earned a rematch and won it, I'm OK with it now.

What about undrafted players from that game currently in the league?

THIS! was as intense as a game could be...and the hitting was just vicious!
