Who has LSU waited 15 years to play? When did this happen?

Agree. I actually like UT.

I'll enjoy LSU's next trip to Knoxville in 2025.

True. Same way Alabama fans were saying they were going independent when a bunch of SEC teams had biweeks leading into the Alabama game.

With that logic almost all of the teams need the SEC more than the SEC needs them. LSU isn't the only school that fits that bill considering the points that people have used so far.

You mean to tell me that Ole Miss, MSU, Vandy, Mizzou, and Kentucky are all more relevant in the eyes of the SEC? What the SEC needs is what they have exactly right now, which is pure quality thanks to schools like Bama, Auburn, LSU, UF, UGA, UT, USC, Arky, Ole Miss, and TAMU.

Soooooooooo, you're saying Tennessee got gyped big time by having to play # 1 and the GOAT while LSU got NOT top 10 Florida.

Please tell me any other program that pulls in that much, and that would be willing fill LSU's shoes

Don't need any. If the SEC loses two programs (so say LSU to the Big 12 and Mizzou to the B1G) then all the schedule problems are fixed without losing that huge Texas footprint for recruiting and viewers.

It's not hatred as much as LSU overtaking Tennessee for second in the SEC.

Founding member of the SEC. We don't skip around between conferences.

And you also can't get anything you want in your current conference. In fact the SEC does the opposite of what you want:

8 game schedule, perm rivals, and a Thanksgiving game

Maybe that is the key though- the SEC knows LSU has no leverage because LSU isn't the type of program that has the balls to leave a conference it helped create.

Here's what I'm wondering...since it's actually something of a zero-sum game when there has to be a vote on an issue, why not title this "LSU and Other Three Who Voted With Them To Secede?" It seems that LSU's win as a minority vote would mean 10 teams would feel like the SEC wasn't prioritizing them instead of just 4 teams. So shouldn't your argument be "Democracy sucks?"

So, let me get this straight, if things don't go the corndogs way, they'll take their ball and play elswhere(Big 12). I'm sure they will get their way with Texas in that declining conference. LSU, aka. the corndogs are simply butt-hurt!
