no original member would ever threaten to leave.
you're trying too hard to start shite. relax...take a break....come back later

Maybe that is the key though- the SEC knows LSU has no leverage because LSU isn't the type of program that has the balls to leave a conference it helped create.
Maybe the SEC doesn't give the time of day to the thought that LSU would leave the SEC. Because quite frankly this is all theoretical and any SEC team would have to be brain-dead to leave the SEC for the freaking big 12.

So, they were like LSU before Saban? Or were you not a fan back then?
LSU was top 12 in all time in wins before Saban ever stepped foot in Baton Rouge. LSU also won 7 of their 11 SEC titles before Saban, 2 in the 80s. LSU was bad for about 10 years. If you want to get on to someone about disregarding history, at least know some yourself before you post. It' truly shows your ignorance to act like LSU had never won anything before Saban. Yes, this is the best era in LSU football history, but that doesn't negate the fact LSU was a top program long before Saban was ever at LSU.

Here's what I'm wondering...since it's actually something of a zero-sum game when there has to be a vote on an issue, why not title this "LSU and Other Three Who Voted With Them To Secede?" It seems that LSU's win as a minority vote would mean 10 teams would feel like the SEC wasn't prioritizing them instead of just 4 teams. So shouldn't your argument be "Democracy sucks?"
Great question.
The answer is that the other teams get something they want.
A&M got a Thanksgiving game, we are cool.
USC got a schedule deal that works well with their Clemson rivalry
Everyone gets at least one thing they want except for LSU.

If LSU leaves and this becomes Big12Rant.com, what would you do all day?

And how do I politely tell you this goes for every school in the SEC....yes, including you

what did we want that we didn't get?
Not playing on Thanksgiving
Not playing UF every year
Not having any perm rivals
Having a schedule where conference teams see each other more
The fact LSU plays UG and UF way more than Bama
etc.
From my perspective LSU hasn't gotten a single thing recently from the SEC office they wanted other than money.
If I am wrong, please correct me.

Are you kidding me? I wouldn't go anywhere!
I have been posting on Big 12 forums long before the SEC was even a twinkle in our eyes.

So y'all did get something? Nevermind then.
I couldn't tell this decision was a LSU partial victory with all the melting.

LSU has been in the SEC a long time. We don't run from problems within our conference, unlike others.
it's a real shame that aTm needed SEC branding to become relevent when they're located in one of the best recruiting states in the country.
Longhorn fans will forever be able to point and laugh.

You are correct LSU leaders don't run away. They stay in place and throw a hissy fit because they get a partial victory instead of a complete victory.

And it is a shame you can't spell relevant correctly.

Meh. We will always get to joke about the LHN.
