All because you have to keep playing UF? Boo freaking hoo.

We would like to travel back to Athens before most of us die. Going that long without playing a conference opponent is flat out ignorant. Keeping Florida is really not the problem, especially since Muschamp is gonna bottom out their program eventually, its the fact that we don't get to travel to other great SEC venues for 15 year intervals. You honestly don't see a problem with this?

Pardon me, those few years really make a difference in the level of suck that was LSU.
Being that LSU has been objectively better over the past half century, what does that make your precious rival?

just like Tennessee. Which is more than anything LSU had accomplished since the 50's. LSU was 50+ years removed from their last title when Saban got there.

Yawn, Tennessee went 47 years between titles, LSU went 45.

In my lifetime LSU has beaten Alabama 17 times to Tennessee's 18, with LSU being 8-9-1 vs UT. In that time LSU and Alabama have played each other on the second Saturday of November more often than Alabama has played Tennessee on the third Saturday of October.

In my lifetime LSU and UT have each won 7 SEC titles, Ole Miss hasn't won any. In that time LSU's overall win% is 0.66, UT's is 0.68, and Mississippi's is 0.53.

Also in my lifetime, Alabama has been on probation more than LSU and Tennessee combined.

I don't like Auburn or their fans, but those suckers don't bych about the schedules, hell the miss the UF series.

And don't berate me for admitting the hard core facts, Auburn fans hate us too.

haha this thread is golden. LSU would never leave the money and I promise if LSU left then the SEC would be losing 70 million+ a year on football alone. Please tell me any other program that pulls in that much, and that would be willing fill LSU's shoes. And shite who cares if LSU doesnt have leverage. Win more games and we wouldnt have to worry about what bowl we go to or what our schedule was like because we would be playing for a title REGARDLESS of our out of conference schedule. win more= more money and everyone knows money gets you what you want.

Y'all are having way too much fun with this. If we truly want to compare LSU vs Tennessee, let's do this:

So LSU and UT are near equal programs and an extreme value to any conference.

I do not understand the LSU/UT shite-slinging that has been going on for the past week.

As am I when LSU plays the Bammers. The hatred between LSU and UT baffles me.

WTF? The SEC and Bama both need LSU more than LSU needs the SEC. Without LSU in the SEC, Bama would never be able to claim strength of schedule and support their way into the NCG or post-season.

?? Apparently we're just playing UT 12 times this season and waltzing in to the BCS NC Game, didn't you hear?

ETA: My bad, not "BCS NC Game". Whatever the shite they wanna call it now!
