National stamding comes from National Titles, hence Bama is the GOAT.

Nope, you just had the greatest coach in college football history for about 25 years and he beat us like a red-headed step-child.
Outside of that one singular era? Not even close.
So let me get this straight: you belittle some Bama posters for making excuses about the Iron Bowl this year-- chastising them for saying things like "Well if you ignore the last play..." or "If you ignore the illegal blocking downfield on the pass to Coates..." and now you sit here, typing "Well if y'all never had Bear for over two decades" with a straight face?

I'd say that the older and larger school is usually the "big brother", even though I'd never use that term myself because I'm not a douchebag.
Not in FL though. FSU is the oldest and UCF is the largest.

AU had a larger student body for a long time until Bama lowered their admission standards to try and get warm bodies.
Eesh. You have to work on your insults. That sounds like "Bama lowered their standards to meet ours." I'm sure that's not the case, but still...

wait, so in order for it to be "not even close" you have to omit over 2 decades?
damn that is pathetic

No, Princeton is. Or maybe Harvard. One of those two schools that were the only two football teams for a half-century or whatever.

Not just pathetic, the norm.

Harvard is the Crimson, let's go with that.

Yeah Princeton's retroactive "national titles" when there were like 10 total teams each playing like 3-4 games are srz bizness.

Bama, however, can only beat average to bad Auburn teams.

But back to the topic at hand, is there a real reason?
South Carolina has managed a longer 10 win season streak in the last 3 years than Auburn has in the entire history of their program?
Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, they've all managed to string together streaks of great seasons one after the other.
What's with Auburn's ability to win SEC titles but inability to remain elite two years in a row?

it's coaching turnover coupled with a bunch of meddlesome crack pot booster arse holes that thought they ran the place
everything else in this thread is troll bait
they got rid of the booster twats and they seem to want to keep this guy around so they should be fine for awhile

What's funny is since UA started making expansion a priority, each year it has become more selective.
"For the fall 2003 entering class, UA accepted 85 percent of the students who applied. Each year since that time, the percent of applicants who were admitted has gradually decreased. For fall 2010, only 55 percent of those who applied were accepted."
"The class’s average ACT score is 25.8, the highest average in UA history, and 1,768 freshmen measured a high school GPA of 4.0 or above, up from 1,725 in 2012."
He was completely full of shite.

Since 83 (30 Seasons) Bama has 17 9 win seasons compared to 19 for AU
