I'm really questioning your literacy.
"Outside the Lines" on Friday published a story detailing how the university had not told law enforcement officials about the alleged rape, possibly by one or more members of its football team, despite administrators finding out about the alleged 2010 incident more than a year ago.

The parents releasing information to ESPN that they didn't give to the University...what I said previously in this thread.

Text messages from Green-Beckham's girlfriend after incident indicate he "drug" her "out by the neck and hurt" her "too."

No. the administration was familiar with this a YEAR ago. So, why the independent investigation THIS year?

Dawgs,
Would you like DGB to play for Georgia?

They should not have been depending on information from the parents. They got that information in the
"Between the lines" interview this year. they were aware a year ago....you just can't say it can you? I have condemned anyone and every one at Georgia that might have had a hand in covering up misdeeds and misconduct. But you just can't condemn obvious wrongs at YOUR school, can you?
The report said as many as three of your football players were involved. Vanderbilt, anyone?

Holy shite! Is this Jeopardy? The answer to this question is the quote.

Nope. We kick ours out of school. Just ask Mettenberger, Caleb King, Isaiah Crowell, Nick Marshall etc.

I was saying "who" to you saying "they" knew about it in 2010.
Get your facts straight, junior.

So your understanding of HIPAA cites that if one is witness to a crime that they cannot tell authorities? Is that what you are suggesting?
Not at all but it's obvious you don't have a fricking clue what I'm even referring to or the salient facts of this case, so I'm not going to bother to explain it to you.
Here's something a little more your speed:

I know enough to know how it applies to this case. You don't know enough about this case to know why

is not applicable.

Is it happy hour in GA already? "Who" refers to who possessed knowledge of the incident...can't even follow your own nonsense at this point, huh?

THE ADMINISTRATION DID! Missouri officials knew the information. I have copied and pasted it numerous times. Have you not seen it?
The administration knew about it a year ago. They just now asked for an investigation. And, by the way, it would appear as if the administration is already saying they dropped the ball. Apparently YOU are the only one that cannot accept this.

Why do you think they are just now asking for an investigation?

“We probably dropped the ball,” a university official told investigators, by way of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, regarding the lack of a clear reporting policy according to the report. Despite the apparent mishandling of the situation, it doesn’t appear, at this point in time, that the feds have gotten involved
Everyone dropped the ball on this poor girl. Especially her family. Would have been nice of the family to tell the University that she had bouts of depression and taking medicine BEFORE she went to MU. There reasoning, valid, was "she would not get a scholarship from any school if they knew. And if we told MU she would have lost her scholarship."

Honestly i don't know. I am mainly trolling you. If i had to guess, i think they were hoping to get this behind everybody. It saves face for the University, and keeps unneeded pain and suffering from the families involved. I think their hands were somewhat forced by the unwanted attention brought by the interview.
The media would not let this go away, and I don't know if it was good or bad. I don't much care for the media because they present themselves as caring people taking up for the little guy, while all the while all they want to do is sell papers and gain viewership. It turned out to be an unfortunate occurrence for Missouri, the girl and her parents. There were no winners in this.

True. They were just as guilty for not telling as anyone so she could snag a scholarship. The girl paid the price for their (parents) own selfishness.
