I have been praying that Dabo has a great year just prior to Saban leaving. I would love for another Shula era

It wouldn't be like that.

It'd be more like Bowden at Auburn. Highest of highs. Lowest of lows.

Tom Osborne
Barry Switzer

not looking it up, but off the top of my head I think all 3 were internal hires

If you hire Smart you get someone who knows how to run the program that is in place.
Bring in a new coach and start over?
I would keep smart and give him a 5 year deal. Could do worse.

This is a really bad post. You sound like you're 9 years old. Please work on it.

You might not like to hear it, but it is spot on. bama doesn't have shite on FSU. Both are premiere jobs......on the same level premiere. Again, FSU doesn't have to navigate the SEC. Use intelligence, and not "homerism", when thinking something through.

Yep, I think you give Smart the chance to see if he can keep the process that is currently in place going. If Bama is in a decline in year 3 or 4, then you go after the top available coach.

Under no circumstance should Dabo be considered until he can prove he can win without Chad Morris as his OC. We do not need to go after someone just because they are a "Bama man". Freaking Dubose & Shula eras

I think FSU is a top 10 program...they can pay more than they pay (Jimbo is just now proving he deserves to be paid with the elite coaches).

Honestly Dabo probably has the 2nd best chance after Smart.

Holy hell... I would rather Saban stay and keep dominating than have that arse clown in the media all the time.

Les miles will get the job. He reads Tiger Rant and is disgusted, quits and Saban arranges for him to be his successor.

well i mean its a proven fact Miles only wins with Saban recruits so I dont see why Bama wouldnt love him!

I absolutely do. Bobby had a run never before seen in college football. 14 straight years of finishing in the top 5. You are a gump so you think nobody is on your level. You are wrong!

Before I had any idea that we could pull Saban in I wanted Mora, Jr. Sticking with that choice when the day comes.

I wouldn't mind...
Jimbo Fisher
Art Briles
Al Golden

Kirby Smart would be nice to get if he was a proven HC, because we know he can recruit and he knows the incredible defensive system in place. Right now, though, that transition always seems to be the toughest for coaches (from coordinator to head coach), so I just don't know.

Honestly, I half expect Smart to end up at UGA.

Could even add Kevin Sumlin to that list.

really never put a whole lot of thought into this but just from the top of my head, and from the college ranks, I would be warm to the idea of Mora, Shaw, Golden, or Stong
