I gave it a really good look. I watched it again, and again, and again. I watched at full speed. I watched at every angle multiple times.
Here's what I got.
The view from the GIF in the OP was not a direct angle. I was fortunate to get a better angle with these photos below. Here is my assessment.
Based on what I saw, which is not much different than the GIF, I still don't see indisputable evidence that the ball came out (or was coming out) of his left hand prior to the nose of the football touching the plane (the front of the goal line, not the back of it). I cannot see a loss of control until he flicks his hand in what appears like an attempt to put the ball on the turf in the endzone.
So, I gave it a really good look. I still don't see indisputable evidence of a fumble prior to crossing the FRONT of the goal line (check your rules if you doubt me). I would have confirmed the ruling on the field as a touchdown, but even if I didn't confirm, I still would not have had enough video evidence to overturn the ruling on the field, which was a touchdown called by a guy with a front row seat.

You have to be the most annoying fricking poster I've ever seen on here. Did you fricking snort a line before jumping in this thread?

None of those pictures looks like he has control of it. Maybe knowing that he lost control of it shortly after after makes it seem that he doesn't have control before the GL.

Guess what...you are wrong.
And when you go to bed tonight...it is still a fumble.

That's why this picture:
Is so important. That looks like he still has control, holding the ball by the nose with his finger tips.

This is a good one. Look at his thumb. You can say that in the VERY EARLY stages of the reach out, he was grasping the football by the side using a cone of all his fingers with the thumb on top for leverage.
Look at his thumb here, it is no longer being used to grasp the football. Look at where his glove starts on his wrists..you can pretty easily surmise where his fingers are. Based on this picture, there's no way he is grasping the football. And again, the whole key here is POSSESSION. Is he possessing the football there, or merely touching it?
That picture does not show someone in possession of a football. And if you were to fast forward a few milliseconds until the very instant before the ball crossed the front plane, the "possession" would be even less.

That picture is awful, it's on the other side of the fricking field. You don't know where he is in relation to the goal line.

It was a fumble and it's not even debatable.

That photo appears to be quite a ways from the GL.

I'd say that this picture is the most unimportant one that has been posted. There is literally nothing useful to take away from that picture.

That's actually the most useful picture posted.

How so? It doesn't show where he's at on the field.
