fumble or not?

Do you think this was a fumble? I had Vol fans at work swear that it was not a fumble because his finger tips touching the ball is possession. That is crazy.

yes...when the runner drops the ball, that is called a fumble in American football.

YEA.

Doesn't the TD line extend OOB ? If so why try to hit the pylon.

I swear I heard last year it does, IMO it shouldn't , hell you could get a long jumper in that case , run him to the OOB line and allow him to jump 5 yards on every play.
