I love how we have been a top team in the toughest division of the best conference....yet folks for some reason think we will have some horrible downfall against a team that is no more than a slightly more conventional Boise. They are a solid ball club, but 7-6 in a fairly weak conference is no mirage. It is what they are, in the SEC, it would have been 5-7 and no bowl.
We will score on them, we will force turnovers, and we will run on them. Does that equal 24 or 38 points, I don't know, but it will be enough to win. That is what we do, and it isn't a fluke.

Ok captain cow tipper, the offense will have the new wrinkles of, screen passes, better use of the tight end, not as much toss lead more hand offs so play action is believable.
Mettenberger as a 5th year senior will be a better leader, and more mature.
Not a patchwork oline.
Healthy Blue, and focused Hilliard, Magee full time back, and Jeremy hill is a beast.
Our top 4 returning receivers are all upperclassmen that have extensive playing time.
JC Copeland is a tank.
All this translates to LSU wearing down TCU late and winning the game in the 4th if not before.

Think Mullen knew he had fricked up with this thread.
Drunk posted late in the LSU-TCU game. Thread was incoherent and he seemed unawares of his surroundings. Feverishly asked whether Hill was playing or not. Mod whacked his thread a minute later. Dude is in a bad way right now.
Hope lessons were learned.

31 w/o hill. he ain't playing. we have other backs that can run thru the holes our OL hosses gonnaopen up.
Jesus man that's a lot to expect breaking in a new offense against a defensive mastermind.
Good call Muffen
