You can't be fricking serious. But, at least with that line of thinking you can recoginze that Les Miles' 2007 season was a fraud.

Sorta like Boise St in the Fiesta was their superbowl? How'd that work out?

Nothing like that actually.

What a coaching genius. Really, this is the stuff of legends.

That has absolutely zero relevance to the statement you replied to, but congrats on being a dumbass.

Tell me, exactly how wild can a defensive formation get? Think he'll go to the spread? Maybe a triple-option? Some trick plays??

You can't be this thick.

So the point can't be disputed. Got it.
Correct. I can't dispute that point with someone who has a fundamental misunderstanding of what logic means.

And as we go deeper into the rabbit hole, LSU fans still can't tell me one goddamn thing about their offense.

Not really. What people forget about that year is that everybody besides Oh St from a major conference had two losses. LSU was simply the best 2-loss team. Deal with it.

No? A BCS bowl wasn't their most important game that year? That's rich.

Because the "statement that I replied to" was probably the most obvious point in the entire world, and you seem to try to be bolstering his image with it.

I just wanna know what this "wild shite" is that the "defensive mastermind" is going to draw-up. Go ahead; enlighten us.

Correct. I can't dispute that point with someone who has a fundamental misunderstanding of what logic means.
Pathetic cop-out, bro. But, I don't blame you for feeling stupid. You're talking straight out of your arse; that's why you can't defend a single point that you've made.

Ok, how about this:

"Cam Cameron is an offensive mastermind and will have some wild shite drawn-up."

Since you obviously consider an equal statement revealing & informative about Patterson, this should be sufficient for you.

I'll say 17 with. 14 without.

I think not having Hill causes one or two possession changes; a couple where LSU would have gotten 1st downs if was playing.

I'd say 24 with, 17 without.

On the road, still ?'s about Mett, with a "new offense"... at least new communication/playcaller I do not expect anything spectacular.

If LSU does go up early they will try to control the clock more than normal because TCU can put up points. If they do not go up early, they are scratching for points. Either way, not many will be scored (by the O anyway).

Here is one nice fact. Since 2008 going forward LSU has played 5 games against Mississippi State. Since this is the date when LSU started having QB problems and their offense started being "terrible" LSU has scored 149 points against State which averages out to 29.8 ppg. That is "turrible"

it will be run first. run the ball to set up the pass.

more deep passes to stretch the field.

its not going to be some dramatic Houston Cougars type shite. it'll basically be the same offense we've had for the last 100 years....just more effective than the last 5 years

happy?

i'd also like to add....you didn't start this thread hoping for answers. we all know that

How could they? Has any team played a game yet?

Damn, you can be one obtuse arse sometimes. Cam Cameron is a solid OC, he hasn't got to reinvent the wheel down there. He just needs to make a few improvements, add a few wrinkles and work with Mett to show improvement. LSU's offense needs some innovating, not a damn overhaul.

No Jeremy Hill.

On their defense, I'd be happy with 20.

And given the perceived disrespect Miles and the team is getting this year

Wait, what?

You can't be serious. The current party line is that LSU is going to drop to at least 3rd in the West (behind A&M), and that Ole Miss has a good shot to get us too. The team is down in the rankings (relatively speaking, I know) about 8 spots from what they've been ranked. Miles has been getting publicly blasted for his handling of the Hill affair, and the defense is discounted due to the juniors who left early.

Expect LSU to come in with a chip on it's shoulder and something to prove.
