I had never interacted with them until posting on here, if you can call that interaction their team board on here is actually one of the more popular UGA boards on the internet so their posters on here run the full gamut from sane to hopelessly delusional.

Just read on another board that Ricky DeBerry is visiting July 31 - Aug. 1. Has anyone else heard of this? Big step to get him on campus.

I saw that. He's one of the OOS premier guys I think we have a shot at. He's tweeted about coach price before, i guess that TP is his recruiter?

At the opening they said we were buzzing with a lot of big name recruits. I think we have a real shot with kids like him, and maybe even Sweat if we can get him to visit.

I'd feel better about getting a few of these big fish to a game at 1/2NewKyle

so who do we move onto as our fourth WR now that it looks like Georgia is getting chigbu? do we offer newsome? turn up the heat on guyton?

Do we need 4 WRs in this class?

I know by all accounts we won't be signing another QB, but I would much rather sign a second quarterback for depth as opposed to 4 wideouts. If either KH or KA transfer, we're running pretty thin at that position.

Not that it's reputable, but TA is claiming it's not a done deal like most are claiming. I still expect him to pick UGA.

ive always just assumed we were taking 4. I don't think we necessarily need to but it doesn't hurt with how we use our receivers

Their entire premise, IMO, is based on his dad visiting A&M and not UGA, and the fact that his dad loved A&M.

Guess we'll find out in a couple hours.

Me too. He is a perfect compliment to our 2 committed receivers and C. Kirk.

I wouldn't assume that. We don't need to take 4 since only Kennedy is leaving. It would be nice if you can get the right guy since we're a bit short on numbers, but no need to push. I bet we'll sit tight unless another Nacho or Reynolds pops up later, especially since I think this class may end up being really tight on numbers (think we'll push right up to the 28 max)

that's were my assumption came from, being a bit short on numbers, but yea we really don't need to push for another one. I guess its just something ive always just thought was happening

With all this said and assuming 28 spots, how does the class shake out? My guess:

QB - 1 (Murray)
WR - 3 (Lodge, Siverand, Kirk)
TE - 1 (Davis)
OL - 4 (Elbert, Lanfear, Sutherland, Weathersby)
RB - 2 (Merritt, Bradford)

DE - 2 (Lockhart, OOS)
DT - 2 (KeKe, Mack)
LB - 5 (Moore, Durham, Evans, Jefferson, IDK)
DB - 7 (Pryor, Dunning, Evans, Capers-Smith, Elam, Boyd, Sheffield)

K - 1 (LaCamera)

I made this post a month ago
quote:

so lets see we have 17 and we will for sure take
malik Jefferson
kendall Sheffield
Christian kirk
kirk merritt
James Lockhart/Jalen Bates/some other guy if those don't pan out
and two of these three. Holton, kris, and roney

that's 24. are we still looking for a kicker? if so that's 25. we take Weathersby if he flips so that's 26. could we go to 27 for chigbu? Im not very sure on our numbers but I thought heading into this cycle we were taking 25-27
I was assuming anywhere from 25 to 27 but if we do go 28, thinking maybe a national guy or someone like bates?

I'll take DeBerry . My hope is that if we have scholarships to fill, our default is the defensive side of the ball.

QB - 1 - Murray
WR - 3 - Lodge, Kirk, Siverand
TE - 1 - Davis
OL - 4 - Elbert, Sutherland, Lanfear + 1 other
RB - 2 - Bradford, Merritt

DE - 2 - Lockhart, Bates
DT - 2 - Mack, Keke
LB - 5 - Jefferson, Durham, Moore, Gardner + 1 other
DB - 7 - Sheffield, Capers-Smith, Hill, Dunning, Pryor + 2 others

K - 1 - LaCamera

7 DB's seems like a stretch, but looks pretty good.
