Some Ole Miss fans are such incredibly poor losers. It really adds to my enjoyment of the series.

Fwiw, a still doesn't add much to he argument, but as I said before the actual true spot means nothing.
This is the entire point. The final spot wasn't determined by the ref until he looked at the sticks.

They bitched up a storm two years ago too. It's like if a game is within 20 points, the SEC refs took the win from them.

yes, i saw it but we don't know what happened just before it. All we're given is a tiny snippet of video.
I think the whole point is what came before doesn't matter. There is no reason for the ref to take the actions he did. Puts the foot at a spot, and as he bends down to spot it he deliberately moves his foot and slides the ball forward, even going so far as to look back at the 1st down marker to guarantee the ball was spotted as a first down.
What happened before means NOTHING in that case. If he were looking down the field, then maybe someone was instructing him to move it forward. But then he wouldn't need to fake the foot movement shite.
Refs blow calls. I don't think anyone here is arguing that they've NEVER helped their team. But holy frick this specific instance is a joke to have happen. Bad spots occur, not always by accident I am sure. But this was a clear example of a ref changing his spot to benefit one team. It's that case of an official "deliberately" giving an extra yard to a team, only caught on film changing the spot on the field of play.
If this shite is going on, what's going on with all the other plays that you can't have video evidence of a ref deliberately making the wrong call on? Holdings (call/no call), PI, etc. It throws up the question cause even though we all claim officials cheat for this team or that team, there was never much evidence beyond just "look how awful this call was!"

Doyle Jackson gave y'all the game a few years ago.

I definitely think it's fishy, but it is not the conclusive video evidence of favoritism I was hoping it was. The ref acted strangely, but ultimately he got the right call, which is all I ever ask for.

I guess you missed the still frame clearly indicating that Alabama wasn't given a good enough spot.

Pretty much this.

lol...explain to me the "interception" by ole miss, then?
Lester's foot was out of bounds and the ruling on field was Bama's ball, player stepped out...yet it was reviewed and overturned despite there being zero evidence otherwise.
sometimes a play just doesn't go the way you think it should have, but I highly doubt a ref would try to openly cheat knowing that there's probably a half dozen tv cameras showing what he's doing live with plenty of people just looking for crap like this so they can claim cheating.
Take the tin-foil hat off.
Also, the Ole Miss player that actually stripped the ball was out of bounds when he stripped it. This by rule should make the ball out of bounds but wasnt called. Bottom line, bama should have gotten to keep the possession.

bama loses tonight if the obvious right calls were made..

Yes he is. Ole Miss fans regardless of the score bitch and whine about officiating after literally every game they play against Alabama. I remember the year Eli came to BDS and Ole Miss got beat by several TDs by Alabama and the Rebel Bear fans insinuated that biased officiating was the cause of the 30+ point loss that night.

We've all seen you whine like a Rebel-red vagina full of sand. Attacking someone's wife and saying she's fat when you probably don't even know if he's married is as weak as it gets. If you have to resort to that, God bless you.

did you not watch the game? because I know what happenned before it but that doesn't really matter. he marked the spot and then spotted the ball close to a yard farther up the field. What further evidence do you think came to his attention during this time?
photo evidence above.
take off the tin-foil hat and put it back on your hat rack.

The still frame of the player laying completely on the ground instead of showing when his knees hit like was mentioned earlier in the thread? Yeah I totally missed that completely irrelevant-to-the-discussion picture.
It just backs up the fishyness more as you can't even say he was looking for a mark in the grass when he was glancing back. There is now literally nothing he could have been looking at other than the 1st down marker.
