Bama also has a kicker that missed 4 field goals. Wonder what people would be saying had we made just ONE of those. Wouldn't have even been overtime. Provided the rest of the game would have played out the way it did. Congrats to LSU.

Honestly, I think Saban and his staff did the best they could with what little they have at QB.

They almost beat LSU, one of the better teams in recent years, with nothing but screens and a scary arse RB. It really almost worked. If Alabama had ONLY thrown screens, neither INT would have happened and Bama probably would have won in regulation.

I'm sure Saban is kicking himself for that. Saying, damn, I should have just stuck to my conservative arse game plan and I would have beat LSU like 9-3. Oh well.

I respect the hell out of Bama. I thought they were a little overrated, but they aren't.

Neither are we, so why won't you admit that?

If Bama had won (on their home field, after a bye week, in a revenge game), which they DID NOT, then Bama would be saying no way they want a rematch with LSU.

Round the bowl and down the hole, Roll Tide Roll

Best coach in football per everyone gets punked again by Miles and LSU.

I was surprised LSU out rushed Bama and held TR to <100 yards.

No, there shouldn't be a re-match. Why give Alabama the chance for a do-over and not LSU?

A rematch would mean that to win the NC LSU would have to beat Bama twice while Bama could win the NC by beating LSU just once. How would that be fair?

you are right we KNOW who the better team is and dont want a rematch! We are the BETTER team not by much but we're better. Bama and LSUs D are different but equal. we set you up and go for big plays you get from 20-50 we step it up. our punter makes you go length of field so you get a few more yards hence the "stat" difference. so you can hang a banner for your 6 ppg and yards gained margin. We'll take our goofy coach & sit in the stands and watch you play in the Sugar Bowl while we wait for BCSCG!

I think I agree with you almost completely on that summary.

1.) Bama and LSU are Theeeeeeeeeeeeee best two teams byyyy far.

True

2.) Bama D is better than LSU's D- not much but better.

False; LSU has a better Defense

Offense's are close but I will give Bama the edge. Special teams- NOT even close- LSU by far. Coaching- LSU.

Agree on all of this.

3.) Alabama lost because of coaching. I give Saban and his Offensive staff an F. Some of the dumbest playing call.

Offensive Staff was ok, they were outmatched. Saban had some terrible game decisions (when to kick a FG; Not trying to score before OT, Etc.

I don't remember who it was on ESPN but guy was saying if Alabama loses to LSU there will not be a rematch. But if LSU had lost there would have likely been a rematch. The decider being it was because Alabama was playing at home. I realize that's his opinion etc but how would that be any more fair? I mean it's not often there are 2 teams in the same year that are this damn good. I personally would like a rematch just to see how it would play out.

So basically OP. LSU won the game on your home field, but we are lucky to win, Bama is the better team and LSU players want no part of playing Bama again in our home away from home New Orleans?

Lol

Stop drinking.

Agree with most everything, EXCEPT:

LSU D is every bit as good as Bama. At the end of the game, was better than Bama.

LSU was not lucky to win. The disadvantage of playing in that stadium, with it's entire fanbase seated a mile away is understated.

Otherwise, it lived up to the game of the century hype, and T-Town established as greatest CFB venue, IMO.

I believe there is no "better" team. We're one of the few teams that could beat Bama; Bama is one of the few teams that could beat us. Bama is not substantially better than us; we're not substantially better than them. That's basically it.

That, and LSU still has a big game, which would help computer rankings. Make it easier for them to move up in the computers.

umm what? His point was that you were playing AT HOME and we went out and played Oregon and at WV while you played Penn State and the sisters of the blind.

Oh well, it doesnt matter. you all lost like we knew you would. Enjoy the sugar bowl vs Boise.
