your reading comprehension skills are abysmal. I was only qouting and inquiring about what the "talking head" on ESPN said.

As for YOUR reading comprehension skills, I was replying to you asking me this:

I realize that's his opinion etc but how would that be any more fair?

As for the re-match, I must admit, I like LSU's chances in the Superdome against ANYBODY.

...But I'd rather play Stanford or OSU. Any other undefeated conference champion.

See you (losing) in Tiger Stadium next year...

Alabama had 7 drives of 30 yards or more. It's not like LSU was dominating them. The issue, was that LSU made TIMELY plays.

That's LSUs motto all year long. Alabama got into the redzone one time.. in a close game, the team with the most redzone attempts won. Pretty simple.

GTFO. You did not get in the RED ZONE one freaking time! You need an offense.

You LOST at home for all the marbles

Are you sure? Did Trent make it just past the 20 on that long run? I don't remember, thought he was tackled just outside the RZ.

Your comprehension skills still fricking suck. I was not asking your opinion on this. I was only offering my opinion on THE ESPN TALKING HEAD's view that it was ok for LSU to have a rematch if they lost, but no ok if Alabama lost. LSU fans go on to say "how is it fair if Alabama beat LSU for the NC when LSU has already beaten Alabama". THATS FAIR ENOUGH. I get it. I was only commenting on what douchebag had to say on ESPN. Had nothing to do with you Wild.

Lucky to win, huh? Sip a couple more cold ones and pass out in your easy chair old man. Dream about the past.

Bama D is better than LSU's D- not much but better.

Bama's D is stiffer. LSU's is more opportunistic. We made plays when we needed them, and we always do. We also kept you out of the red zone except for once.

I believe they know they were lucky as hell to win.

LUCK had nothing to do with it. Your errors were systematic. Luck implies random error. Luck implies chance. It was not chance that you missed those kicks. You missed those kicks because your kicker sucks. It was not chance that Maze didn't field that punt. He didn't field that punt because he was injured.

None of that is attributable to luck.

I believe LSU knows in its heart who the better team is.

We came into your place and beat you straight up. We're better.

4.) The LSU fans I met Sat. night after the game where very subdued. At the airport today, no one was talking smack. Very unusual for the LSU crowd. I believe they know they were lucky as hell to win.

6.) Do I think we should play again, NO. I believe LSU knows in its heart who the better team is. They do not want to play Bama again this year.

Aw! bless your little heart.

Most of your post is well done, but I had to at this comment.

Lucky as hell? I think I speak for most LSU fans in saying that when I left the stadium I was convinced (with good reason) and secure/confident and at total peace knowing that LSU is easily the best team in the nation, and they proved that Saturday night. We came into your place, shut down your run game, and beat you in all four phases of the game (coaching being the fourth phase). And let's not forget that our backup quarterback beat you...in your place. Bama is a great team, arguably the second-best team in the country, but make no mistake ... LSU is simply better. And that's a fact.

Luck...

I believe there is no "better" team. We're one of the few teams that could beat Bama; Bama is one of the few teams that could beat us. Bama is not substantially better than us; we're not substantially better than them. That's basically it.

If Bama had won 9-6, I would have been saying we were luck as hell to get a W.
