That god damn Fairley hit at the end of the game is still ringing in my head. I have said it several times this whole year that UGA was the win I wanted and I got it today, but there is a stink on it and it's name is cheap mother fricking shots.

Fairley took liberties on several occasions today and I don't mind him slamming a qb to the ground when he gets there in reasonable time but the last shot really fricking irks me. The game is in hand, over even, and there are a couple minutes left and he lunges at the knees of Aaron Murray, an 18 year old with a great future. It really fricking irks me and sucks the fun out of the win for me.

I have been open about calling out Fairley and Bates all year and this is another example. Not sure where this is learned or if it is but it HAS to stop. If a kid takes a shot in the heat of the game and gets hurt, that is football. If he gets hurt after a play or outside the rules, that is assault.

I can't say anything on Auburn Eagle since all those people are delusional fricks that are somehow disappointed in Richt for having his players stand up for their guys.

Good post. FWIW, it didn't look like Trooper was celebrating it. More like he was waiving Fairley to the sideline to avoid more trouble.

I always expect AU to play dirty. Always has been that way.

Enjoy it. It is business as usual for AU.

Great post. Glad to see an Auburn fan who agrees that Fairley is a dirty slime bag.

Good post.

Didn't see all of Fairley's plays today, but he's been doing this all year.

By the way, anybody heard anything about Murray and if he's ok?

Really like watching the kid play. Looks almost identical to Tyler Wilson imo.

I stick with my story, this is the first time I have been embarrassed to be Auburn alumni. I don't give a frick if we lose or not, if Fairley plays like that against bama he should be sat.

It's sad to see a monster team like 2010 Auburn get a bad reputation over one player. As a lifelong LSU/SEC fan, I can't stand seeing that kind of play on the field.

Murray took it more on the shin than the knee. He appeared to walk off fine. Going to break alot of David Greenes records at UGA

Solid post, but I still say that play where he hit Murray's knee was unavoidable since he had momentum and was falling down. I don't think it was intentionally , at least I hope not. The other plays were pretty dirty though.

Congrats on the West

personally I thought the spear in the middle of the back was way worse considering how late it was and Murray had no way of bracing himself for it.

I'm LSU first, SEC second, but it's going to be REAL hard to even remotely accept the fact that I'm supposed to pull for Auburn, if they should make it to the BCSNCG.
