Truck prices have come down from high as frick to just high with the incentives being offered. Still most regular crew cab trucks are pushing 55-60k

Man I did this a few times back in the day. The key was to drink a shite ton of water the day before.

I’ve got a construction detail of this I’ll try to dig up.
I put a maintenance strip around all my plantings that are abutting the house slab. Up on a patio slab it isn’t necessary. You can do a 6”-12” strip if you want to for slash pad if you don’t have gutters...

12”-18” gravel maintenance strip along the house foundation and a typical bed is usually like 3’-5’. A row of shrubs will easily fill out a 3’ bed. If you go 5’ you have the option to add complementary plant materials if you want to break up a hedge row...

There was at least 15 or so vendors that didn’t come back. Talked to an owner of a usual place that wasn’t attending about a week ago. He said they would never do it again because the payoff wasn’t enough and the voting was biased/rigged. This was coming from a guy that had won in the past.
