Thorne was legit the only player on the field for Auburn during that game that looked like he showed up to play....

Shouldn’t a team captain and QB1 be able to motivate his teammates to play then? Ashford didn’t seem to have a problem motivating his teammates to beat a better rent a win team in WKU last season.

Have you been keeping up with TJ at Texas State this year? If not, STFU. If yes, STFU.

I'm sure there will be a few more, but that is off the top of my head.

Hopefully Steiner leaves as well. Wouldnt mind seeing Cam Riley try his luck elsewhere too

Finally someone who doesn't put Geriner on the list. I like you Smuphy lol.

Wouldn't shock me to see another WR or 2 added to this and maybe DB.

Well, let's stick to league games where one got the start/most meaningful snaps: Ashford lost to MSST and Arkansas where Thorne won. And won convincingly. Don't give a frick about a non-conference gamethe week before Bama.

In all fairness, Wesley has been through more shite in his 20+ years as (hopefully) most of us will in our entire lives. He may not have produced as we, HE had hoped this year, but as far as character and a leader off the field, I'd be happy to have him back. Thank Corch, OP. Vulnerable Strength.

Leonard to the portal with a no contact tag. He’s ND bound, imo.

Ashford beat aTm where Throne lost.

How far have we fallen that guys are fighting to keep Payton Thorne as our starter. Two games of "grit" doesn't erase an overall season of mediocrity. There has to be better in the portal and we need to go after it.

Like I said, we are sticking to games where the rotation wasn't completely ridiculous.

Yea. Throne can get us to 7/8 wins but that’s it. He’s not going to light the world on fire.

I get people wanting to stick with their guys, but that’s just not what CFB is anymore.

I’ve been asking that question all season. He’s a less talented Chris Todd.

So what does the board think of Grayson McCall? Numbers fell off this year but the team support was less and the OC play calling was different, and he was dinged up.

On the flip side, his numbers are against Coastal Carolina opponents. One might argue its apples to apples because his supporting staff here will be commensurate with the increased competition. Or one might say he is a Houks, who when taken out of the small pond turns out to be much less impactful.

We sent an offer out to Alan Herron. OL from Shorter. I don't know anything else about him.

Thats what I said. We have not had a good QB in so long, people dont remember what it was like.

That dude was absolutely fricking horible for the majority of the season. Just because he used some guts in the Iron Bowl and ran the ball well, does not mean we need to play him next year. He ran well, he still missed open receivers like crazy

He is not the guy we need moving forward. Easy to see

My cousin played at shorter with him. Says he doesn’t understand how a guy as good as him ends up at that level to begin with.

We do need to go to the portal but this is false.

Thorne has a better arm and ran for over 500+. Todd ran for -116 in '09

He has less ability than Jake Holland. He needs to take his talents elsewhere if he wants to play. You want to burn a scholly on him bc his story? We've all been through shite. Time to move on to better players
