Ya, if Pettway turned his head around and expected the ball. That is 100% on Pett, Stidham was about to throw it and hit him between the #s on the wrong side of the jersey

Agreed. It was clear Stidham was reading that CB to see which he took. When he went TE should have been able to hit Bubba for at least a first down, probably a TD. If you go back and watch that Clemson game (god bless you) there's a lot of those type of moments in that game where some of the playcalls were there but execution wasn't

Pettway is useless in the passing game. He has maybe 1 career reception?

He had 3 coming into the year and 3 in the Mercer game. He looked good catching ball last week. However, I think he's still learning that he is in fact an option this year in the passing game

Even after that fail, if our best OL doesn't whiff on a block during Stidham's scramble, he probably runs it in.

Damn, I never noticed that but ya Smith had a real shot at blocking him. Not easy but could have at least knocked him off course a bit

So many missed opportunities in that game

100% Missouri.

They are not a real measuring stick. Vegas has them going winless in SEC this year.

Miss St is an opponent that we can rightfully judge Gus against.

I'm hoping for Auburn to play to their potential. WDE.
