But as I said.....beating Bama is and will always be the number 1 way I measure a season. Obviously UGA, LSU ...

My assumption is that those Auburn fans who live out of state or did not grow up in the state of Alabama do not feel the intensity of the Auburn-Alabama rivalry as those that live in it 24/7/365
Auburn-Alabama comes up at work, at church, at poker night, at 4th of July bbqs, at random red lights....

I’m clearly in the minority.
But given the choice of:
1. Season we had beating Bama
2. 10-3 and losing to Bama
...I would take #1.

I like 10+ win seasons and winning bowl games as much as the next person...
...but in the end this was a successful season because we beat the goons from Tuscaloosa.

Loss yesterday against Virginia to me might not even be in the top 5 “most painful losses.”
1. Florida State - 2013
2. Van Kiffin field goal
3. LSU last second touchdown pass...

I would like to see Auburn in the east....move Missouri to West.
I had initially hoped that playing T A&M would help us recruit Houston players. Nope!
I would prefer seeing us consistently play Florida and Tennessee over LSU and Texas A&M....

Gus’ record against top 25 teams away from Jordan-Hare.
Extra credit if you can name the 6 wins. I’ll give you a hint....none of the 6 were in Tuscaloosa, Athens or Baton Rouge.
With Georgia, Bama and potentially a bowl game, that record could unfortunately get to 6 - 15 by Jan. 1...

I went camping with kids. Auburn football non-existant for me until August 2019.
