Nothing he said wasn't anything differently said on message boards (including here) and other folks twitters. With that said Dye unfortunately is associated with our football program and should not be saying stuff like that. It pisses me off as well.

This all the way. And I love Dye, but man he needs to just stay away from the media/radio.

I have been waiting for Kiehl to have his Kodi Burns moment. Now all I get is his Tuberville one...

I appreciate what Pat Dye did for the program but he needs to just stay away from the media/radio. There have been plenty of examples of him casting AU in a negative light since last season. The fact he would affiliate with Finebaum was enough to warrant action...

Pat Dye's pants are cowards.

Hiding at the bottom of that lake all these years.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't care if he said this if he wasn't still associated with the University in a quasi-official capacity.

LOL crucify Dye? This wouldn't be his first foot in mouth moment. Kiehl wouldn't have answered that in a tweet if he didn't feel confident Dye said it.

Nobody said it would. The only "source" of him actually saying that is a tweet from a UT beat writer. No quotations or anything else. I would not be surprised if Pat said it and will definitely condemn him if he did, but I think he deserves a chance to respond before people bash him.

What's the AU homer boards saying, for those who post on them?

Frazier already responded. Go to twitter and look it up.

Frazier got the "QUOTE" from the UT beat writer. I'm 99% sure that Dye was taken out of context but whatever.

Malzahn on Dye comments: "Of course I recruited all the quarterbacks here and they're nothing but champions. I'm proud of the guys."

See, he can talk about his players. I don't think Gus would call Lionel James a pussy.

Both of our quarterbacks, Clint and Kiehl, were absolutely cowards in the pocket last year. I have no problem with a no-nonsense ex coach saying this to a QB club. It goes along the lines of Les's "chest" quote about Gunner Kiel. The audiences at these functions pay for more than coach speak.

I somewhat agree that Clint was a whiny little brat at times last year. Frazier on the other hand is trying his best to benefit the team in any way he can. I respect him for that and Dye should keep his mouth shut.

Put Pat to pasture already Auburn.

Just damn what a shitty thing to say as a public rep for Auburn. What a shitty thing to say about 2 kids he barely knows and never coached. Just damn.

Dye is 100% correct. It was easy to see that Mocha Nightmare was scared. And this place shite all over Mosley since 2011 with that crybaby Cam BS. But now allof a sudden this board its full of faux outrage. Funny really

OK, who here last year did not think or point out a single time last year that the team or a single individual player were quitters?

Now who here that can claim the above is now all up on their soap box about Pat Dye?

Now who here of that group is over 35 years old? Over 30? 20?

"Coward" is blatantly false as it pertains to Kiehl. He didn't transfer/quit, has volunteered to move positions, seems to keep a positive attitude. The kid is just a head-case, probably has an anxiety disorder.
