We have very different definitions of hitting if that's what you call what she did...
No excuse for her getting physical with him and she shares blame in this incident no doubt. But to use that to excuse his response is ridiculous. He literally broke her face... Let's not act like he was in some kind of dangerous place and was protecting himself. He knocked out someone much weaker than himself then just left. Dude is a POS

The fact that he's twice her size doesn't mean anything legally.
you can't beat the ever living frick out of someone just because they pushed you and gave you a slap on the neck

Except that he didn't "beat the ever living frick" out of her; he hit her once. And then left. The fact that his one punch is 100x stronger than her 1 punch is irrelevant. Maybe if he had stood there and beaten her lifeless body you'd have a point, but he didn't. Sorry.

Are you freaking stupid? He comes in, starts mouthing off to her and her friends (God knows what he was saying), she pushes him and he waylays on her. You think that's acceptable behavior? Just boys will be boys? F that

Legally?... I guess. but if anyone honestly believes what was shown in the video justifies Mixon fricking that girls face up, you're an idiot.
Posted on 12/16/16 at 9:03 pm to metafour
Actually counselor it is relevant. It's called the egg shell plaintiff rule.

read up on excessive force as you are trying to claim Mixon acted in self defense

I'm not excusing his response. You can't look at someone and judge their morality. That girl learned a valuable life lesson that day. Maybe 97 out of 100 guys who she does that to (and I'd bet she's done it before) let her do it and just walk away and she's left feeling like a badass; but you'll find that there are people out there who you don't want to mess with, period. Is he a piece of shite? Very likely.

Jesus tap-dancing Christ. So she thinks she's the boxer and he slaps her, all while her jaw was wired shut? Wow, the stupidity never ceases to amaze me on the internet. SO what is it?
- Bad genes?
- Paint chips?
- Shitty parents?
- Shitty schools?
- Umbilical cord wrapped around your neck?
- A drop on your head from your shitty parents?
- Or all of the above?

Whatever man. I find it amazing what people got from that video. It's not even a woman vs man thing imo. It's a don't fricking break other people's faces over minor shite kind of thing

What I got from the video is what I already follow every day: don't physically instigate others because you never know what level of retribution they are willing or capable of inflicting. The morality of his actions are irrelevant. You can only control your OWN actions, therefore make smart choices. Not everyone on the street lives by some "oh you pushed me, therefore all I'm morally obliged to do is push you back" ruleset. She's lucky that they she didn't get shot in the face.

What are you talking about? White girl talks shite to a young black male. Stands up and pushes him. What do you think happens? She needs to understand her surroundings. This isn't 1950. And the other guy is right, regardless of how emotional you are, she gave the initial contact. I don't care what happens to either. But the video is clear who touched who first. And the law is specific on this matter. Case closed.

From what I see in the video, he instigated the situation. He brought it to that point. He walked up to the table. He said what he did. He lunged at her with a closed fist after a simple shove to further escalate it. He proceeded to break her face. He was looking for what he gave.
You're an apologist of the worst kind.

Why are you more concerned about her actions than his?

It's absolutely not. Please show everyone your work

Actually, no, you do not have to be touched first to be able to legally react with force.
