Lateral move to a coach that is a defensive guy which means he gives up some control. Probably would have to give up some money to do it too.

If Muschamp takes a pay cut for a lateral position, that will be a huge slap in our face.

Another issue with Muschamp going to UGA as DC is money. I doubt UGA would be willing to pay what we are/would. But with what he's getting from UF he may be cool with a bit of a cut in pay. Also unless UGA higher ups have changed their tune, if you're Smart do you want to use that much money on a DC when you are already a defensive minded coach instead of on a big time OC?
