Sean White isn't the answer either. You would have been pissed and bitching about him too. Our season was doomed before it ever started.

White was handcuffed from the start because his coach didn't believe in him. If he lets him loose, we beat Miss St. Then who knows what else could have happened after that. The team never got in sync. When you try to micromanage a football team, bad things happen. I just hope Malzahn can figure things out in his own head.

My assessment of White has nothing to do with JJ. Wtf are you even talking about. What exactly was his record again as our starting QB?

His completion percentage was 3 percentage points worse than JJ's. Fact

You will see what I am saying soon enough. Don't be so soft with your feels bro.

No, no, no, no, NO. If White gets dinged up again, let Wallace play.

White will get his chance in the bowl game. He will also be the front runner for 2016 on experience. We will get a chance to see what is what then.

So are we all just okay with the fact Gus can't develop or recruit a good qb? He has to go to the juco or transfer route to be successful?

Late reply, but I'm putting this on the OC and QB coach. We know he's just a proxy for Gus, but he's the one evaluating and working with these guys on a daily basis. I'd hope that Gus is more involved in HC stuff, but who knows?

Sean looked damn good when he was in the game sans the UGA game. Amazing how people forget that he led us down the field for a game tying FG with seconds left in the game vs Arkansas. Or how the coaches handcuffed him with the play calling or the WR dropping his passes. Hell, i think he was the first Auburn Qb to throw for over 200 yards in three consecutive games since Craig.

Also, his record as a starter is a poor indication of how he played in the game as well as his completion percentage. Thats chicken shite stats brah. And my feels are solid. We just dont see eye to eye on this one

So Sean had different wide receivers than JJ?

Also, let's get something clear. I think JJ is not better than White, but if you really think White is going to be the greatest and lead Auburn to greatness you will be disappointed. He would in a different style of offense but not ours.

Btw what stats am I supposed to use other than the ones he produces?

Probably best for AU and JJ. No reason to bash the guy. He has carried himself as a professional, and I wish him luck.

White has a higher ceiling due to a lack of experience... both in practice and games

I haven't bashed JJ. I'm more worried about why he didn't develop after being with Malzahn for 3 years. That bothers the hell out of me.

White keeping his QB coach is the right thing IMO. Hell I hope I'm wrong about White because I don't want him to spoil here like JJ did.

exactly. If he is done with his degree then transferring would be the best for him but if he isn't done then I would finish up my degree before going anywhere.

I heard he would have had his degree already but had quite a few incomplete assignments.

What's even worse, IMO, than the lack of development is why we started JJ when it was clear the kid just didn't have it.

We didn't run the ball and White's throws were usually downfield. JJ's throws were 2nd options to the sideline.

C'mon now.. Don't act like White was throwing those incompletions anywhere near where JJ's were. Hell, most of White's hit the WRs in the hands.

not sure where the fk you got this from. Never said, "oh, Sean is the greatest" And yes he had the same WR that dropped passes all year long, but at least he hit them in the hands. JJ just airmailed his passes or threw the ball a yard behind them.

frick stats. Use your eyes. He throws an accurate ball, has the mobility to move avoid pressure, is excellent in the pocket and will stand in there and take a hit while delivering an accurate pass. Hell, he even sells the fake well enough to be effective in the red option. Or is the only thing you remember him doing is getting hammered against UGA and fumbling the football?

No, but a lot of inexplicable shite this season is likely attributable to Gus being stubborn and prideful.

I did use my eyes for White and why I made my opinion. You are bothered that I don't agree with you about him being the QB to win a lot of games in Malzahn's offense.

I said in another post he is talented, but better suited for another offense. I agree White should have started the season, but I am not in agreement that he will be the answer moving forward in Gus Malzahn's offense. Btw, he would have remained the starter had he not been injured. He wasn't ready to come back in the UGA either.

You think he will lead us to or give us a better chance at winning more games next year, and I say no he isn't. Oh and it's not because of how bad JJ played, I based that by what i saw.
