7-6 , 8-5, we are supposed to accept this with the $$$ being paid out for nonloyal coaches??

Who is "non-loyal?" You realize coaching staff changes happen every year EVERYWHERE on just about every coaching staff, right?

Coaching is a business and a fraternity. All of them know each other and many have worked with one another at some point in the past. The coaches probably laugh at the fans' WWE take on their relationships. Behind the scenes it isn't nearly as contentious as most of us think, even between coaches at rival schools. When you're being paid $500k to be an assistant, your "loyalty" isn't a school or another coach -- your loyalty is Mr. Ben Franklin.

Do I think coaches would PREFER to work at their alma mater? Probably in most cases, but their careers come first (and I don't blame them). Tracy Rocker would probably prefer to be at AU, but I don't think he is unhappy with being THUGA's D-line coach -- it is a major program that can win and it pays well.

As for Craig, I don't know what happened. It seems there may have been real disagreements there that made him want out. Or it could be a case of him trying to move up the ranks and he figured having AU, FSU and LSU on his resume would look better than just AU and FSU. It's the same thing Muschamp and Chizik did when they left us for Texas for the same position (even after being highly successful at AU).

As for myself, I am not loyal to coaches and don't give a shite who the coaches are as long as they do the job. No AU head coach in the modern era has been an AU grad or had any loyalty before they took the job (that includes Pat Dye).

We are 2-9 in the SEC since Ole Miss 2014. Cannot get much more down than that.

I hope Gus pulls it out and gets his head out of his arse because I like hI'm as a guy, but there is no other way to look at this stat but "trending down".
