Oh boy. Hope this works out.

Before this thread goes to complete shite, I would like to point out how cool it is the way Kodi's career has unfolded. Kid seems to really love Auburn, and Auburn loves him. For a guy who came in, didn't have immediate success, had his coach get shite canned and changed positions, it's cool to see that there's an obvious mutual bond between school & player. And a National Title TD/ring to show for it.

Yeah let me clarify.

I really like Kodi. Nothing against him. Malzahn took the lazy way out and hired a YES man

My thoughts as well. I feel like Gus took the easy route and hired the fallback guy up front.

Gus and Jacobs have become a joke because they are so fricking predictable.

I just don't get why all of you are melting over a WR coach. His coaching talent will be easily replaced. Garner is an excellent recruiter, as well as the new guys that Gus just hired. From the outside, it looks like DC just had no room to grow, which I completely understand why he left. But I don't understand how this equates to the program imploding. Everyone that left this year got more money, or a promotion. Happens all the time at my place of employment.

I think that is assumed here - we all like KB.

LSU gets Wisconsin DC and DCraig and we are left with Steele and Kodi Burns who's only been coaching for a couple of years? frick this gay earth. Does Kodi have experience recruiting in the south? God man frick Gus right now.

I get why Craig left too... Not sure I understand going to lsu... From the outside looking in, miles isn't on stable footing, and their offense is run-based and generally struggles (even when they're good).

I'm sure the money is guaranteed regardless, and he'd get snatched up quickly if miles is fired... but it still is a little puzzling.

He was a monster recruiter in mobile. Plus he is a well liked former player that just left his Alma mater. He gushed over auburn when he came frome fsu. This is a slap in the face for Auburn.

Craig took a lateral move.

It shows the program is imploding because all of the staff has basically hit the road. Shows no one likes Malzahn.

Are you trolling? I can't tell?

Craig is beloved Auburn guy and has been since the 90s and a juggernaut recruiter. For him to leave to go to a divisional rival for the same job means that shite is going down seriously behind the scenes and wil come out sooner than later.

I would say that Malzahn is in do or die territory now with the auburn fan base. He has let good coaches leave and kept the guys not producing. Before all this I thought he had a few years good or bad to figure it out, now it hinges on this season

I don't know who reads AUF, but the board pseudo insider WDE has implied that he has dirt on Kodi Burns and he has been extremely negative about hiring KB.
