Maybe Brohm is a stud, maybe Hazell just needed a 5th year. Idk... If Brohm finishes the year at 5-7, should we hire him?

Why? I'm seriously curious about Fedora.
I don't know much about him except he coached at Southern Miss and he has maybe one really good season (11-1)? at UNC.

Could be bought for next to nothing.

Not a lot of competition for his services
Maybe because at age 65 he's the fourth oldest HC in FBS.

Will say once again, Dino Babers intrigues me. High powered offense seems like a strong personality.... intriguing

What about Bill O'Brien or Doug Marrone? Maybe Josh McDaniels?

Frost
Venables
Fuente

I’d add Jeff Scott to that list but when Dabo goes to Bama he’d jump ship back to Clemson.

Sadly Gus will be here in 2018.

JJ is still doing the hiring.

We may get another large TV at the stadium.

Scott Frost but keep our D coaches and let him run the offense and be the head coach. Quick win on all accounts.

Clay Helton from Southern Cal. He played QB at Auburn. Has them going in the right direction.

There are a lot of bad candidates listed throughout this thread.

If I'm the AD, and I could do a much better job than the current one, I'm doing everything in my power to bring Bob Stoops to AU. He is a proven, elite head coach who still has several years in front of him.

Otherwise, I'm carefully looking at coordinators who have a lot of experience as a coordinator in major successful programs. I would rather take a shot on a solid coordinator (Venables) than a head coach who is the "hot up and comer" (PJ Fleck). After all, that's how we ended up in our current predicament.

EDIT: My only concern with a coordinator is would he be able to handle all the behind the scenes drama we seem to have at AU. That's why I think you need a proven HC who knows how to navigate AU politics, etc.

What makes you think he would leave USCw for Auburn?
