And there it is.

I don't know what the hell I would do as a defensive coordinator if I saw both Marshall and Johnson on the field. Jesus.

Yeah, that was cracking me up.

ETA: I guess Gus wasn't joking when he said, before the season, that JJ could start for 90% of the schools in the nation.

How well can Marshall catch the ball? Teach him some basic routes in practice and let him line up in the slot. He could run speed sweeps and you could run some crazy trick plays. They want a HS offense? Let's give them a HS offense.

The purpose of discussing having NM and JJ on the field at the same time, is so defenses have to prepare for it.

I don't care if NM/JJ are just decoys on the field - it just makes sense to show an opponent that they better be ready - it might happen.

Great. So your brilliant offensive idea is to put 11 guys out there, with one being a "decoy" who does nothing but draw attention to the backfield where your two most important players on offense happen to be standing; and in the process of putting this player on the field, you lose a downfield threat due to having to remove one of your proven outside skill positions basically freeing up a defensive player to focus solely on the two qbs?

Or are you takling about just moving your starting qb into a position that puts him in a much greater risk to get injured?

Genius. Pure genius. Yeah, no one would have thought about doing that before.

Because it's retarded.
