The biggest problem with Lawson I noticed is he's short and has short arms. He's always just an arms length away from making plays in the backfield

You need to go back and look at 1st half of Louisville game last year. Carl was an absolute terror. Some lofty compliments by Tunsil (ex-Ole Miss OT now in NFL) as well. 2 game data set this year is skewing your perception. Carl is as good as advertised.
His big plays a la Dee Ford, Quentin Groves are coming.

By the way....huge round of applause for Andrew Williams.
Where did that dude come from? He played a helluva a game. And I always think highly of players that are getting a real major (Business in the case of A Williams) vs communications or underwater massage or whatever many of these kids study.

What about when he came back and got 1 sack in 6 games?

Davidson had a hell of a game as well. He was a beast. Like a young Carl Lawson.
