Jay G. Tate is report via Brunswick (Ga.) News that a witnesses is/will clear Bessent of ownership of the contraband. Seems this witness is the driver/owner of the car. He is cooperating with the authorities. Hopefully good news for KB and he'll have been scared straight! And realize the opportunity in front of him!

Hope that's true, and hope he's on a short leash becuase even if someone else takes responsibility for it, i'm not so naive as to suggest he wasn't culpable.
ETA...after thinking about it, I think we should part ways with this kid.

PR shite storm if we keep him, but I don't really care. If he seems penitent and willing to put that nonsense behind him and worry about his football career I hope Gus keeps him and gives the finger to everyone else.

Don't give him a leash , just a crate and a food bowl. He doesn't end a sentence with sir, send him packing. Whether it was his or not, stupid to out yourself in that situation.
