Over $4k if it's still around $20 a gram.

that is a lot of weed then. That is what? About the size of a brick?

ehhh, depends on how compact it was. Yes, that is a lot of weed. They didn't have to be smoking it for the cop to smell it in the car, with that amount.

How do these kids not know? I am a 43, an old dude, and I know you gotta vacuum seal the stuff. Its too strong smelling these days. And if they were in a Charger then they are doubly stupid. You might as well hang a sign saying "TPOS! I need to be arrested!" on the vehicle.
Of course this is just stuff I heard, I have no actual knowledge of such things.

I am amazed at how many drug experts we have in our fan base here...
Now I understand how some of you paid or paying for school...

Meh, I'm not a pot smoker but I don't give it a second thought if someone is. Hell I was at a popular club Fri night here that is pretty expensive n people were blazing up. Could smell it off and on when I was there.
In a few years we will look back and say Wtf. Why were people ever arrested for it. Like alcohol n prohibition.

Here's some math for some of you asking. There are 32 grams in an ounce. With that being said, if the 202 number is right, he had just under a half lb. If all this is true, homeboy is fricked.

My point was that if I know all of this, how do they not?!?
They just had a big journalistic investigation here in ATL, based solely on the type of cars that police are more inclined to take interest in. #1 vehicle in a landslide victory, Dodge Charger. If the windows are tinted, you will be pulled over with a swiftness.

I had a good buddy (I grew up with) that was arrested with 2,700 lbs. (yes pounds) in a semi that was being unloaded in his yard. Getting tied up with a Mexican drug cartel does not pay.

I know what your point was. I was just kidding for hell's sake.

28 grams in an ounce. (I had to look that up. I did not know that off of the top of my head)

I think I just saw that movie with the Rock. Damn that had to suck. Is he still in prison? Your friend, I think Rock never had to go.
Posted on 2/9/14 at 2:32 pm to RockyMtnTigerWDE
Yeah. He rolled over, but still got close to 7 years in federal prison.
There was also over $500k and over 30 guns siezed. I think the guns hurt as much as the weed.

If it didn't pay, we wouldn't have this thread to begin with. And no, I have no dog in this fight. But I have several acquaintances with experience in these matters. It's a revolving door of a life. In jail, out of jail, probation/parole, rinse and repeat. The problem is that once you are in the system, you are labeled for life. Good luck getting any job requiring a background check or any type of security clearances.

When they finally legalize pot, I'm coming to jlrjr for advice.

Makes me realize just how stupid I was in AU. Freshman year spring break, we bought a qp and drove out to Crested Butte and back blazing the whole way. Seemed harmless at the time.

My cousin's roommate in college in Arizona did it the smart way. His brother or cousin would drive medical marijuana in from California. He would sell it only to kids he went to HS with.
Guy used to make about 10k$ a semester and said he just didn't feel like selling more. Paid for his tuition and his drugs

One of my friends when I was there was a big pot dealer around Auburn and I had access to all the free weed I wanted but I never cared for the stuff.

When it gets decriminilized/legalized and my employer doesn't drug test for it, I won't mind doing it occasionally. For now though, not worth it
