My belief as well. Use every d-lineman on the roster.

I rewatched the game yesterday and he really didn't go that conservative in the second half. It seemed like we didn't execute as well and we had more dumb penalties in the second half. We still threw the ball down the field.

There were drive killing drops by the WRs. Yes, he didn't go up tempo in the 2nd half. But if those receivers catch the ball, the offense stays on the field.

As for the Arkmart game, Muschamp needs to find someone that wants to come up and tackle. I'll say again, Idk why Jeff Holland is not getting more playing time. Maybe he will this week. He and Mitchell were the only two that seemed to want to tackle Fournette in the LSU game, but they barely played. It may be in pass coverage that they lack, but at least they do something. The other LBs don't cover passes or the run.

Yeah, looking at rush defense Arkansas is ranked 15th giving up 107 yards a game and Auburn is ranked 102nd giving up 198 yards a game rushing.

That's very bad. Collins is gonna run all the frick over our shitty fricking defense.

This. For as great of a 1st quarter as Louis had & coming through late he had a TERRIBLE 3rd quarter with 2 big drops. He makes one of those catches and we get a first down & maybe some rhythm. The 3rd quarter was terrible execution & defense not getting off the field. Kentucky just flat out beat us in that quarter

No idea either. He seems to have played the run just as well as getting some kind of push on pass plays. I have to think that he is either struggling in practice or is apart of only a small subset of packages.

Not a huge stat guy, but after 6 games they at least have some meaning. However, momentum is more important and I think our offense is finally getting some momentum. This is going to be a close game, but feel cautiously optimistic that we win this game.

Scoring offense AU 25.5, UA 23.8
Scoring defense AU 25.7, UA 23.2

Total Offense Yards AU 354, UA 433

Passing Yards AU 171, UA Passing Defense 258 (Worse than our passing defense which says a lot)
Passing yards UA 256, AU passing defense 229

Rushing AU 184, Arkie rushing defense 107
Rushing UA 177. AU Rushing defense 200

Other than Fournette we haven't had as much issue with backs as we have mobile QBs.

I think Collins has a good game but I don't see them dominating us in the run game.

Our CBs have really improved and I trust our DBs on islands in man coverage against Arkansas' pedestrian passing offense/WRs

Does Gus open it up like he did the first half of the UK game?

He needs to for 4 quarters and if he does, we will win by 17+

Anyone else really worried that Prince Tega is extremely talented and has a huge ceiling

but Rodney Garner is our DL coach and will be the Berlin Wall keeping him from reaching that potential?

This is Arky's superbowl. It would be hilarious if one of the worst AU teams in history walks in there and wins. I don't seeing it happening considering Arky has two weeks to prepare, but if it does, then this season is officially turned around.

Its supposed to rain all day Saturday in Fayetteville

Why did I pick this game of all the away games to go to this year? 11:00 kick in the rain....sucks.

Rain would suck for us... Probably slow down our passing game. Arkansas's pass defense is atrocious. and while we are a solid run team, we like to get to the corners... Arkansas is much more of a downhill rush offense better suited for wet conditions imo

Half the reason to go up there is the Ozark Mountains and the scenery. And now you won't even get to enjoy that either hahahaha

Two questions:

If AU wins by 14+ how will you guys feel about rest of the season?

If AU loses big (say 21+), how will you guys feel about the rest of the season? Do we fire coaches? Does Gus go on the hot seat (insofar as "You better win next year?")
