Harris, Allen, they all look the same.

I just saw on Rant where someone posted lines. Ark is -4.5.

I prefer not to be favored. I think we play better.

That's a fair line on the road against a solid team with a week off before the game and a coach that loathes the other team.

If we were home then I would agree. Early starts favor the away team. Too early to make a prediction, but I think we are improving.

The old philosophy still holds: Run the ball and stop the run.

Arkansas has the makings of a pretty good team, but honestly, it is probably much more a matter of how our offense performs.

Maybe we can limit the big runs some, but I tend to doubt it. They will also probably shorten the game a good bit.

That being said, I do not see why the Auburn offense cannot score on Arkansas, and Branden Allen has a tendency to make really bad throws when the game is on the line.

Also, I think Gus probably wants this game just as much as Bert, because of the Arkansas history.

Their defense doesn't have the talent from last year but great DC

Offense really is missing RB Williams, Allen is meh and OL is not as good as expected.

5D has us as 5.5 dogs.
Wish we were the faves so I could make mo' money on us... Unfortunately.
I think 5.5 for the irrelevant imbreds is about right, unfortunately. So I am not touching it.

Offensively this is a better matchup for us than most believe. Arkansas can stop the run, but are terrible in pass defense. White will crave through them with the pass, so long as the OL can hold up against the passrush.

Not a good matchup for our defense just because they will show up for the game. I expect them to score, but they are not built for a shootout.

11 am means the crowd will not be a factor.

Not sure how this go but I am confident that it will be stressful & frustrating

I think Louis has another big game. The key will be again can we hold them to FGs & score TDs. And please, please, please Gus stick with the fast pace as it seemed we finally found a rhythm & had a defense backpedalling. I feel a lot better about this game than I did 2 weeks ago.

Gun to my head I pick Auburn to win 31-30 on late game winning FG by Carlsen

I have no clue how this game will shake out. Arkansas seems to be even more inconsistent than AU.

They did play A&M and Bama very close and they've had an off week to prepare.

At least we got a couple of extra days to prepare since we had a Thursday night game.

If our offense can continue to improve we'll be in this game. I just hate Gus went super conservative in the second half of the KY game.

Has anyone broken down the offense by halves? I thought the same thing initially, but I rewatched the game yesterday and he really didn't go that conservative in the second half. It seemed like we didn't execute as well and we had more dumb penalties in the second half. We still threw the ball down the field.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to prove otherwise.
