Pretty sure we are going to need an NSD fax girl to highlight that recruiting battle.

That Stanford degree is worth a pretty penny.

Depends on what degree. Law? Engineering? Will definitely get you through that first door.

Getting through that 2nd door, once you have some experience in your field, most recruiters/executives don't care about the name on your diploma as long as you have a good track-record and excellent references.

And, as I've pointed out before, there are definitely some degrees that help a LOT for a lifetime, but those kind of degrees come from places like The Citadel or VMI. Now those places NETWORK.

I know it is a tall task, but can we at least save the melting for when he actually commits so we don't have to go through it twice?

This is why we can't have nice things

"Former Florida State and West Virginia quarterback and current East Mississippi Community College quarterbacks coach Clint Trickett is expected to join the football support staff at the University of Alabama, an industry source told BamaOnLine.com on Tuesday."

Trickett is going to kill it as a coach and recruiter. He has ties all over the place from his playing career and now juco ties from coaching. Not to mention his father.

We have to recruit against D. Craig, Dell Mcgee, Coach O, Steve Sark, Kirby, BIlly Napier, Tommy Thigpen, Pruitt

We have Gus, Chip, and Kodi Burns and the senior citizens on defense

Trickett is the guy that sold Lashlee on JF3 being an elite talent at QB

That's like fricking roster sabotage.

He was also Kristen Saban's first kiss

Pretty sure her husband is thrilled about this.

Haha what a mess. I think he's going to make a good recruiter but what he's produced and sold to schools hasn't been too great. I'm not too sad about it

Didn't coach Lindsey previously recruit Shenker and Tanner ? This is a bizarre last few days.

Tanner is listed at 6'7, 354lbs. By far our largest guard and larger than our LT.

Shea from 247 had updates for LSU that includes 2 of our targets

quote:

Tyler Taylor … LSU has quietly kept themselves in the mix here and really surged late in the game. Auburn has never felt overly confident about landing him and he didn’t commit to them on his visit their last weekend, which was good for LSU’s chances. I talked with Tyler yesterday and he told me he didn’t have a decision made yet, but that it’s down to LSU and Auburn and a decision will come soon. Definitely before National Signing Day. Now, the one reason I feel a little bit of confidence on Taylor’s end is that a source told me in early-December that LSU had a very great shot at Monty Rice and Tyler Taylor. I didn’t know at the time that LSU was in the mix like that, but I was told LSU DC Dave Aranda had really made a big splash with them. Sure enough, Rice shocks the world and committed to LSU. Of course, he backtracked a week later and enrolled at Georgia. But point being, the sources was right that LSU was in the mix more than we know, and now that’s clearly the same case for Taylor, who bumped OU out of his top group and plans to pick between LSU and Auburn. No Crystal Ball pick in for me either way yet, but the LSU side feels like they are still in it. Same goes for Auburn. Neither side is really overly confident.

quote:

Markaviest Bryant … From talking to people in the Peach State, Bryant has not come to a final decision yet. He has always liked Auburn a lot and is headed there this weekend on his official visit to see what they have to offer. I personally think he could pull off a shocker and wind up at Auburn or LSU despite everyone feeling he signs with Georgia. All three teams were in-home with him on Monday and Tuesday because he leaves today for Arkansas. Then he visits Auburn this weekend, then will announce his decision on National Signing Day. We will know more about where things stand with Bryant after his Auburn visit this weekend, but heading into the visit I know LSU feels like they are very much alive, and sources I’ve talked to in Georgia say the exact same. One source told me this morning that it was going to be “a battle until the final day” when it comes to which school gets him. We didn’t see him in the picture a month ago, but now the Tigers have really set themselves up to keep battling down the stretch.

Not how it went down. Lashlee showed up to scout JF3 on the night JF3 scored 6 tds. Lashlee offered on the spot.

Put another one on the board

Our class is loaded, baby!!!

To put in perspective, in the 2017 recruiting class of OG's there is only 1 - 5 star and 16 - 4 stars, one of which is committed to us. Don't think this is horrible considering. Plus, based on Hand's history of developing talent, I'm fine with this.

As an FYI, at OT, there are 6 - 5 stars (one committed to AU) and 30 - 4 stars (one committed to AU).

And find under armor shoes supplied with jet packs attached to them if he's going to pull in our scheme.
