Its pretty absurd to wrap yourself up in disappointment over the decisions of high school kids in the first place.

That settles it. Delete the recruiting thread. Speak not another word.

I saw the trend a long time ago and how serious many of you take recruiting. I like the info, profiles and videos of recruits. I find it entertaining how much better at recruiting some posters think they are than our coaching staff's each year,
Our staff will make mistakes, but overall have done a solid to great job in filling needs and bringing some excellent talent to Auburn. The constant griping and bitching is laughable and old. As if the retards criticizing could dominate were they given the chance. They make broad statements as if they are fact and not opinion.
Btw I was just messing with you. I really don't give a shite about who is or isn't committed at this stage of recruiting.

I myself think you bring good info and perspective. My issue has always been about delivery. I don't always agree with you, but life would be boring. I don't always agree with E, jr, or many others. I may not always offer my disagreement either.
This thread doesn't need to be removed as this kind of shite happens envy year. It's why I hate and love this place over other sites. Everyone needs to stop dwelling on it and let's move on.

That is not true. I posted about our recruiting base with the intent of having a real discussion. Then one of you assholes called me negative and compared me to his fat ugly wife.

That wasn't my post you quoted.
As for being compared to someone's ugly wife you should probably take it as a compliment.

Twins OLs Riley Anderson and Austin Anderson of Texas are visiting #Auburn as we speak. Offered by Tigers last week.

What are our chances with the twins?
We NEED twins on our OL. Think about it, twins read each other's minds and good OL units work together as one unit. Remember the Taylor twins that played basketball for UAB?
If we sign twins and a somoan on our OL then our OL will be ELITE.

I have watched Rochester play many times. I didn't say he sucked. I said it would not shock me to see him be an average DT in the SEC. I think he is soft.
He is not a Top 5 DT, and that will play out over the next several years. If he comes to AU I hope I am wrong, but I have been wary of him, and would take Brown/Jackson over him. If I am wrong...Ke Sera, Sera.
ETA: I qualified my OP as opinion, and have never claimed to be an expert. I don't attack people

fwiw,.. I agree with Meta on all accounts. Will we be alright? yes... are we behind the 8 ball right now on recruiting OTs, which we desperately need? yes... I understand it's only April and still 10 months from signing day, but reality is, we're behind.
Also, it's comical how some of you seem to feel the need run to the rescue anytime somebody disagrees or calls that goober E out. Get the sand out of your vag and open your eyes.

He can defend himself but we just don't like when some people call another poster out for simply telling what has been reported on issues.
Not like E is claiming he agrees/that this is his thought. When Meta complains about Jonah WIlliams not being recruited, E just gives what KeefNeebur reported on the isssue.

Who REALLY GAD what was said on this board once they shut it down? If what someone posts really bothers someone, they should ignore them.
The world doesn't need more Montegs.

I think you're encountering opposition to your opinion because you're basing your opinion on things that are not concrete and can't be measured. And since you're not a coach and not a professional in any way in terms of football is concerned, nobody respects whether or not you think Rochester has a mean streak or if he's soft. So there's where you are in the spectrum of everyone elses' opinion.
Rarely can you recruit a guy in high school that has elite, ideal size and measurable for a D1 level athlete that also produces on the field. He's possesses elite talent and size. He is a take for everyone, including our staff. And it's not even close. That alone is worth a top 5 ranking because one of the biggest questions about whether a DT is able to take that last, elite step is dependent on his physical development.
You can debate your opinion on his ceiling until your little heart explodes. But millionaire college coaches seem to think his floor is pretty high. And they're doing a lot of work to get his signature.
Anyways, here's a non-biased analysis of Rochester by a former player, coach, and recruiting analyst. LINK Hope this helps out some

I'll pass. I'm over the pageantry that college recruiting has become. I follow it to get an idea of who we are recruiting, but I stay out of the day to day gossip for the most part. Closer to NSD, my interest picks up though.
I do like the condescending tone you use for people who follow recruiting...while posting in.... a recruiting thread. To each his own.
