You think our special teams are any good? We haven't done anything with special teams in 4 years.

2009-2012 our special teams were legit. Teams have negated what used to be a very significant advantage we had with special teams by Fountain not changing anything. You can look at tape from 2010 and 2015 and everything is the exact same. If you know the upback is going to block the 3-man then all you have to do is do a switch and boom, now you don;t have to worry about the upback blocking.

Yeah, just get 2 or 3 of this type of guy and we will be fine at TE.

If we had a Gronkowski, we would win every game by 30. Even in the NFL they struggle covering him

so Crystal Balls are not looking so hot right now.

Clayton to UF
Gary to Michigan
Little to Ole Miss

looks like another subpar season with subpar recruiting. We will get left behind if we don't do something, especially with Garner.

Gus would use him as a lead blocker on a few plays and he'd catch about 8 or 9 balls a season.

Well we are currently ranked 40th in recruiting by Rivals...

Still Time

If we have a bad year (almost assured), we need to increase our Bag man activity.

Now 247, we dropped 9 spots due to the loss of the JUCO

247 Composite

The way the rankings are calculated they assume a class of 18-20. So when yo uonly have 10 commits, you are penalized by not getting points for commits 11 to 18.

If we filled out with straight 3*s, we would end up top 20

Jake Holland was a Rivals 4*. We won't get those talented diamond in the rough 3*

We will get the Jake Holland/Chad Slade 3* who should be 1* FCS prospects

Just how many times were you dropped on your head as an infant? It likely wasn't an accident after the first one.

Guess you forgot about the missed FG and KO return TD in the NC game. That 10 points cost us that game.

The botched fake punt defense was the bigger deal. "Oh hey, their heisman QB is in the game as a blocker?! I bet he is just such a good blocker they will risk injury to him"

Missed FG isn't special teams fault. Other than recruiting K/P, ST coaches have almost zero influence on success from them other than moral support/blocking for them.

I thought FOuntain should have been fired before the game ended over this

Chad Slade was absolutely awful. Watch #62 "pull" then not touch a single person on this play. The guy he was supposed to block makes the tackle which costs us at least 5-10 yards

And there are multiple plays from 2013 where he did a better job than anyone we have now is doing.

ETA that's a really hard block for a backside guard to make, shitty example.
