I think TSD would start over Bryce. Maybe Lang too.

Actual quote from CBP is we will be better at 3 for sure, maybe 4 spots. 3 would be Canty, Purifoy or Dunnans pending on the line up, and Horace.

Well I'd hope we are better at every spot with returning starters progressing over the offseason. Only exception would be Harrell's spot because he was such a baller.

I don't think we'd start Kanty and TAJ together. Giving up too much size with both in at the same time.

In other words, do you think we'll be beating our heads against the TV when these freshman make dumb mistakes or will they be less mistake-prone than we've been used to in the past.
We will probably be banging our heads at time cuz freshmen almost always make their share of mistakes but so will many other teams because they will be getting new kids in too. I think we will be no worse than 6th or 7th in the SEC next season.

It was only talking pure roster talent upgrade.

Pearl clarified his 7 new faces quote. The 4 signees plus Spencer. He did not mention Spencer by name so don't worry about an NCAA violation. He said he felt good about signing a big in the late signing period. The other 2 were Canty and Atewe. That's 7. He did say we may bring in 1 more also which would be 8 by his math.

I agree, I just remember Bruce saying that he liked Tahj at the 2. I would probably start Lang. I really think he will end up being a great player.

That was before the year. In the last part of the year he said he likes him at the 1.

You and I think alike but Coach Pearl crapped on that by saying he expects Danjel to start next season.

I could see Canty and Tahj on the floor since Tahj is a good on ball defender and scrappy for his size at rebounding. It would almost have to be with a tall 3-5 lineup (Purifoy/Lang, Spencer, Reed)

I think Lang will be a better player off the bench as 6th man regardless. He hustles, great defender and improving offensive game. His hustle/energy would be a nightmare for teams to handle midway through the game when they start to tire. I wouldn't want to match up a tired starter/2nd team player on a fresh Lang if he keeps improving

Also, we better make a move on Aaron Roundtree III from Wake Forrest. Announced he is graduating early. 6'8, solid stats and could bring some much needed experience in the post

Not much difference in height than the 2014 NC's had with Napier and Boatright. They dominated the 2 6'6 Harrison twins from UK.

Lang will be a great player if he ever takes my advice and ditches those high ankle socks and sleeves up. only thing that kid is missing is proper accessorization. And a proper weight lifting program.

Another larger size potential grad transfer is Shonn Miller from Cornell. 6'7 210 pounds, was first team All Ivy, 16.3 PPG with 8.5 RPG. Ivy Rookie of the year. Kid has a sick jumper, shoots 80+% FT, top 3 in the league in blocks and is super legit

Former Big South POY and Runner up POY John Brown is 6'7 210 and is on track to graduate.

He regularly is featured on SC top10 plays

Seems to have an exquisite sleeve rapport.

I doubt we look at Rountree. He only averaged 14 minutes and 3 ppg last year. He shot like 50 percent from the FT line too. I like those other two guys, though.
