Heath only has one tourney appearance in his first four seasons, same with Pel.
However, Heath and Pel had both accumulated two losing seasons in their first four years, something Mike has yet to do once.

This conference? What did Florida do last year? It's basketball, it happens. And I'm not "ok" with it, but I can handle it because I know what we've got going on here.
We aren't fricking UK, KU, UNC. When the frick are people going to get over the 90s. We are what we are. We'll have solid runs every 2-3 years when upperclassmen take over the team. We're never going to be a re-load team. Change your fandom if that's what you're expecting.
This conference is going to be salty this year. LSU, A&M, Ole Miss and Miss State are all probably going dancing in the West.
Add Florida and UK from the east and thats no slouch.

Yes, this conference. You know, the shitty basketball one where we're one of 2 schools that actually cares about basketball? Bad years will happen. But they should be the minority, not the other way around.

I've been an Arkansas fan for 4 years. I was born a month after the '94 NC. I'm not stuck in the 90s at all. Based on what I've seen over the past 4 years, I don't think it's unreasonable to think that we should be making the tourney on a semi-consistent basis. Maybe that will happen, maybe it won't. Somehow we've gotten away from the main point of this thread. We're going to be complete garbage this year

This conference put like 9 teams in the tourney a few years ago. Regardless of programs "caring" about basketball, the SEC is always going to be tough, especially with the new coaches that have been hired.
