Once upon a time, long, long ago, when I was a younger man, we were actually competitive in basketball and football. It's been a long time since we were real contenders in basketball and what once was anxious waiting and electricity in the air due to the impending basketball season has long since subsided. I honestly have no idea whether we'll ever see those glory days again.

and Stan Heath took the Razorbacks to the Big dance in year 4 and year 5.

This is Anderson's fifth year so he still has a chance to do the same.
Plus, if Stan Heath was such a good coach why doesn't he have a head coaching gig right now??
Heath's overall record is garbage. Anderson is a proven winner and has earned our patience.

You are getting crushed in this thread.
Just admit we are going to suck.

We only have four front court players listed on the roster.
FOUR!
If you thought rebounding was bad last year then you won't won't be able to stomach this year.

Who is going to be the next President?
What numbers do I need to win the lottery?
What is the next big thing on the stock market?
Please answer soon because I'm worried your future predicting skills could wear off any minute now.

Anderson is a proven winner and deserves more patience. Heath sucks.
Your point is invalid.

Yet Heath may have more appearances in the Big Dance after 5 years than Mike
Point valid

Anderson has more appearances as a coach.
Meaning he is proven.
Meaning Anderson is a much better coach to give a few extra years after having nothing but winning seasons while at Arkansas.

Mike has 7 appearances in the dance and Heath had 4, both only achieved the Elite 8 level (once) in their post season careers.
Besides a few more appearances, they are about the same and one can't get a job and the other can't build a successful program without family members to recruit.

209–206 (.504) Heath
286–146 (.662) Anderson
About the same, laughable.

Which doesn't matter, Stan went to the big Dance twice in 5 years at Arkansas and I would bet my estate Mike only goes once
Mike has failed, just like Stan, just like Red

So what do you think we will be?

Your idea of failure is fricked up.
Anderson hasn't even completed his fifth year so your point is still invalid.

And your expectations are what? Exactly?
State it now, so we can call you out on moving the goal posts later...

Oh the irony, you calling someone out for a firm prediction. You straddle more fences that you have gone from Bruce to Caitlyn Jenner overnight.
I'll play your reindeer games and say a 10/12 win season

So you can't answer a simple question.
You are saying someone is a failure for not meeting your expectations, yet can not clearly define what those expectations are.
Most likely because those expectations are fluid and some are held to higher expectations than others, that's fine, you can have you own motives and justifications for liking or disliking any coach or person, however if you are trying to gather others to join you bandwagon you should perhaps explain why they should.

That doesn't answer the expectations you have that Mike has failed to meet making him a failure.
