Why are non basketball fans trying to convince everyone we'll be terrible?

good lord, stone. I think we'll be terrible and I am a basketball fan- used to be way more of a basketball fan than football.
That said, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm bracing myself for the worst.

I think we will be better than most think but I do not expect us to make it to the tourney. A classic rebuild year after losing a lot of talent to the pros and to the felonies

Just seems like it's the trendy thing to bash the basketball players.
I'm sure if the best employee at your place of work left, you wouldn't like it if everyone started saying how TERRIBLE the office was going to be. Try to imagine that.

No, I wouldn't like it. I do think it's logical we're going to take a hit this season with the loss of players, but that's not because I think the players remaining suck. We just lost a lot of production and that's going to be hard to make up for this season.
I would love nothing more than Mike to be an unarguable success here.

I'm kind of looking forward to this year. I anticipate a lot of defensive pressure, more tempo, and more (hopefully effective) 3 point shooting.

Wins and Losses shouldn't matter, as long as they play with that "Razorback Spirit" and show improvement.
