Why not just admire DVH's 14 consecutive NCAA tourneys, or his 6 regional titles, or his 4 Super Regional titles, or his 4 CWS appearances?

32 teams get invited to a regional each year in college baseball aka the start of the baseball tournament for a championship.
68 make the ncaa basketball tournament.
DVH has yet to miss the tournament. Mike has made it one year out of 5.

He is lazy because he knew he was going to have seniors that were leaving last year. But, he still decided not to recruit worth a shite.
He knew before last season even started, he was losing Madden, Harris, and likely Portis.
Every coach in America knew Kapita wasn't going to qualify, but Mike signed him. Florida backed off, Missouri backed off....but not Arkansas....

Van Horn has made the post season every year he has been at Arkansas. He has won a Conference Championship, 6 Regional Championships, 4 Super Regional Championships, 4 College World Series Appearances, finished in the top 4 in the nation twice at the end of the season.
I don't give a shite if the guy is purple, if he can win, that is all that matters. Right now, Van Horn wins and Mike Anderson hasn't.

Who gives a shite about conference titles in baseball or basketball? They don't mean a thing in the big picture. The object is to get into the NCAA tournament. So far DVH has done it 100% of the time while playing in the toughest conference in the NCAA. CMA has done it 25% of the time playing in the weakest P5 conference in the NCAA.

my bad I wasn't really doing a thorough job researching when posting that.
64 teams in the ncaa baseball tournament then. Still less slots than the basketball tournament. DVH has still run further in the tournament than Mike has run in the ncaa.
Also most here aren't clamoring for a national championship they just believe we should be headed to the post season even on a down year at this point. We should be capable of making the NIT even when we suck with a pretty easy conference schedule and while our early season schedule was decent it's not like we were losing to great teams. We have plenty of bad losses.

I don't believe anyone judging Mike is racist- hope not anyway.
I don't understand why people act surprised that this season has been what it's been. Hell they are still better than I anticipated even with the losses. They play more as a team but they can't overcome the lack of talent. Blame Mike for that fine but he does have what looks like a good class coming in next year. Personally, I think it would be stupid to fire him given what's coming next season. If we are sitting at 9-10 then well that's a whole different story.
As should be obvious, I got a whole lot of don'ts going on this morning.

I don't think we should fire mike this year. I do however think it's time to let him know he's on thin ice and should consider how he can improve and stabilize us as an offseason participating team.

Do I think we should be better this year? Yea. Would we be with some luck in recruiting and players not being idiots/babies. Yea for sure. But I also know what a disaster the previous 2 coaching searches were and I know there is by no means a sure thing out there.
Let's see if they can surprise us against A&M.
If the new guys gel with a core of Kinglsey, Whitt Hannahs and Beard returning, this team could be really really good.
