The game isn't very good, but the officiating is god awful. College FB refs are pretty good, college baseball umps are pretty good, college basketball refs are baaaad.

We played shitty basketball, we didn't block out and we couldn't shoot the 3 and we couldn't rebound the basketball. We got owned by a less than talented Califari team at home.
We need to build walls and close up the upper deck, or build more suites for the rich

Nobody is saying the refs are the reason we lost. Several are saying that the way games are officiated across the board in college basketball is unwatchable.

When you play the type of defense that Mike has us playing, you can expect lot's of fouls.

Kingsley tried to block about 8 shots that were well out of anyone's range leaving his guy to get easy put backs. Its frustrating but this team is about where I thought they would be.

The inconsistency of the officiating kills me. Last night for the first 8 minutes the players on both teams couldn't get a foul call, that led to the next 32 minutes being called very tight.
It's confusing for the viewer and I know it has to be difficult for the players. You never know what you can get away with and what you cant

Its been that way for most of the college games I've seen this year, regardless of the conference or teams playing. If this continues into the NCAA tourney you are going to have people turning the channel in droves.
It's like if every other college football play had a penalty thrown. There is no rhythm at all to the game and it takes the crowd out of the contest.
