He will inexplicably win some games we thought wasn't possible at all and this will turn into a 7-8 win season.

And, I can see that being the most CBB thing ever. Really, I can see it happening with us getting much stronger.

Santo Ramirez has been spot on in the interviews. Man, he is bringing the truth. as is Ragnow.

OR>>> we will not win a single SEC game, or 1 game.

It will get much better than we are thinking or the wheels will fall off.

I think we have 1 true leader of this team and that is Santos. You are right. That guy is a dog. He know you have to have that dog mentality to win.

He said it best when you want to win you have to be hungry for greatness.

Ragnow sounds like a coach. What I really think about him is he is right. When we are that close we have to punch that ball in. Failure is inexcusable.

The real truth is I think enos had his second game where as a game plan it was a total wtf moment. Bert actually said he wanted to run outside in his pc. We were running in the middle against 8 all game blocking with 5.

We have to steal some of auburn and Ohio states playbook. We need to run power out of spread sets in the red zone. Take the art briles Baylor approach and put WR's on the side lines and not the hash marks. Spread the defense as far as we can to create running lanes. 22 personnel in a phone booth will not work. It hasn't since 2015.

The guy who has a son on the team on hogville basically said we have changed our recruiting patterns. When Chaney and Pittman were here we went after 6'5 340 lb road graters(graders?) Now we have gotten 6'4 310-315 guys that can move. We did this so we can run screens, and not get whipped by small quick guys in the pass game. The offense enos is running is not as wide open as the one he ran at CMU. Not as wide open. It is more conservative. I believe bert's pressure to "stick to our DNA" has caused us to be stale in the red zone. We haven't changed some of our scheme to fit the personnel. That is his stubbornness coming to bite him in the arse.

Exactly.

There are some parallels to 2015, in which we started out 1-3, losing three straight to Toledo, Texas Tech and A&M. That team went into Knoxville and beat up Tennessee to save its season, and went on to an 8-5 record. The only problem with that parallel is that the 2015 team had much more talent, especially along the lines, than this squad.

Not exactly going out on a limb here, but A&M makes or breaks the season. Win that game and we get a bit of confidence back, and we can potentially right the ship to a degree.

Lose that game, and the season is officially in the ditch, and we're potentially looking at 3-9 or 4-8.

It is this year's "Who gets canned" Bowl for the SEC West. If Bielema drops another one to A&M, particularly this A&M team, then it would take a minor miracle for him to still be employed here next season.

Oh, he will make it to the end of the season, but he won't like the first of next year when his buyout decreases and Long pulls the trigger on him.

Rumlin, meanwhile, has to win now or else. The fan base was not thrilled with him going into the season, after the last two games they are in open mutiny. If he loses to ULL he might not be on the sideline for our game.

The last time Bert was pissed off we demolished Florida. He'd best stay angry the next two weeks.

The difference between 2015 BA and 2017 AA is like the difference between Tom Brady and Blake Bortles.

I think they only had Kendrick Jackson in for two plays while they had Hayden Johnson in for a small amount as well, but I could be wrong. Why they didn't try to use Kendrick more in the run game against a smaller defense doesn't make any sense.

Last 3 p-5 teams we've faced we've been out scored 70-0

Lot's of WTF moments for Enos

I spoke to a bowl director today and he said, "Don't give up yet, Bret knows what he is doing"

Told me that TCU is a much better team than what folks thought, just sit back and watch. They will be in the top 2 in the Big 12. And they are a more SR laden team.

I don't know what to think, he believe we will beat TAMU and several more to get 7-9 wins.

I will be shocked if that happens. He also believes that the next two years are going to be much better for Arkansas.

I listened to Biddy on drivetime and he called everybody out. Finished by saying we should see a lot of personnel changes after that performance and if we don't some questions need to be asked.

This won't be a popular opinion but I tend to agree. TCU had maybe the most experienced team returning in all of the P5 this year. That experience yields good things/better luck in early season games against evenly matched teams(see OU this weekend)

Not saying I'm not disappointed, but I still think we can win 7-8 which where I had us

I am conflicted, it wouldn't bother me if CBB were fired or resigned today. It also wouldn't bother me if he won more than expected this year.

My problem is this, if this is the best we are going to see going forward. Meaning the past is an indicator of the future, then lets get this over with.

If he is taking the long route (pun intended) but will sustain 8-10 every year then lets hold on a bit. I seriously doubt this option however.

I don't think we are that far off from 8-9 consistently. 10(83% win %) however is something we've never done consistently and we just so happen to be in the hardest conference we've been in, in our history.

If Deon Stewart is still starting I'll be pissed.

Question is even if we went 2-6 or worse in the SEC would Bert get fired? Big payout and no performance clauses let UA out of the contract.

Wins 3 non conference and Missouri
Loss tcu, bama, auburn, LSU
Toss up ole miss, miss state, s car, A&m

Final guess of 6-6 with trip to Shreveport bowl and Bert returns

One problem is that it feels like, for whatever reason, we're not playing our best players.

Colton Jackson and Ty Clary are starting. I refuse to believe either a true freshman walk on or a LT who is the obvious weak link in our line are better than guys like Wallace, Merrick or Heinrich. Not to keep harping on the Big Ten mentality, but you can potentially operate like this at Wisconsin because you don't have to worry about your weak link being exposed against Purdue or Illinois.

Why are Deon Stewart and Pettway playing, and for that matter why is Stewart returning kicks? Where is Hammonds? Why did Chase Hayden get two carries?
