I hate to break it to you, Reverend BUT the same message I posted long ago regarding Bret B's SEC success still remains. He is a mediocre coach at best being one acceptable to those who never expect a National Champion. 'that is all I'm going to say bout that'
Note! Those who don't know me, I was once on the same board now defunct the good Reverend was a member. I knew much or more about Razorback football than most.
Aw shucks, I know more about football than most others in any NCAA program. (blushing and shy)

Are you pleased with a top 20 team performance or do you wish for a National Champion? Is it CBB the one with mediocre performance credentials or merely one with ambition to 'not play Alabama but BEAT Alabams'? (His quote when accepting the UA Coach job).

2. Read the threads on this board, you'll learn that no one is happy at all with Bert and no one is pleased with the buyout that ties our hands either.

Be nice, sir. That was I had to say about telling the Rev a final time of Bret's mediocre performance I knew well at the beginning would never yield a National Champion. Quite frankly, I am inclined you may be one of those Hog fans after a loss, "that's okay, we'll get them next year" I have been a Hog fan since 1955 as a young teen ager unable to count the times I have heard that. I am not a liar.

Sorry Ma'am I made a wrong assumption. You've also made a wrong assumption by giving me another title whom I have never heard or know of. Additionally, I was born in 1941 being a teen ager in 1955. You should better examine the spelling of the word ASSUME where each letter is an acronym representing something bad. LOL

I love the sport of football playing semi pro for the Texarkana Titans in 1968. (never went to college as you've already correctly assumed) I know a lot about the sport and a lot about coaching. It will serve you well to listen to my assessments which, are generally solid / correct. No brag, a FACT!
